NCWest or Innova?
So NC latest announcement left a bit of doubt in my mind on where to play, on one hand you have innova that is starting sometime after the 30th and is going to be a fresh new server, on the other hand you have NCWest with the existing ppl.
In one hand I have my own character at lvl 77 in EU that I can come back to and even get a stone to change to whatever class I want if I sub before F2P starts, on the other hand there is a new server, new start, I bet lots of ppl from private servers are more than likely aiming to start fresh on innova rather than on an existing server with ppl that essentially already dominate it.
So what are you fellow Lineage 2 players doing and what are your reasons for doing so? Are you rerolling on Innova or are you staying with NCWest?

IMO reroll on Innova. Naia is physically moved to the US, and at least 75% of the EU players will leave the server. With already an avarage of 1500 players per day, you canimagine what kind of ghost town Naia will become
Well if you ask me the best bet is. if you are from the US go to NCWest and if you are from EU go to Innova. It is true that Naia will become a lot less populated then it is now, but this population will fill up by new NA players and new servers will open up in the NA as well.
Im gonna try Innova, finnaly getting away from NCwest ^_^ hope their all fired

Going to stick with NC West and my tried and true character. Too many years put into it to throw it away. Not that I'm going to become a hard core L2 player again. Unless it's so awesome that I can't stand it!

Seems like Innova is doing a Beta, I think I am going to sign up and see how it is, and in the meantime play a bit on NCWest and then decide.
Starting from scratch does really appeal to me, the leveling and meeting ppl was pretty awesome in Prelude. It would actually be awesome if they made a progression server starting from Prelude again.
Agree. That hapened because leveling takes some time. We stay time enouph on 40s to build groups and fight world boss's, catacombs, necropolis, etc. Same repeat for 50s and so on. We make friends (even me as a more casual player).
I decide to back to L2 after 4 years away (1 month ago)
Now leveling is become so fast (even without the double xp event running atm), so lvls 30, 40, 50, 60 seams like a tutorial......
Clans only want ppl 75+, and some only 80+
With GoD seams leveling will become even faster, i dont know if it is a good thing. I will see, waiting for GoD to create a new char and explore the new content
Innova for sure, I want to start fresh on a new server. But the choice is easy for me as I don't have a high lvl toon on the old servers (had a 70+ Destro back on Franz, but I don't even remember the account data anymore).
Did anyone get a confirmation e-mail or something after signing up for the beta? I tried twice but got no reply..
Like one poster said if you from Euro you should play on Innova but if you from US you should play NC West. Its not really something you have to decide because it would not make sence to not play on your local servers.
That is not true I played for 3 years on the US servers without a problem, and I also had US ppl WoW with me on EU, its really not a problem, a guild that is majority EU will probably move to EU with ppl coming over.
If you have a fast internet connection which most ppl do nowadays ping makes barely any difference, and if your really worried you can even get a proxy fairly easily to boost your ping.
Ofc there are the awkward raid/Siege times but they are easy to overcome, the good thing about L2 is sieges are on the weekend and every 2 weeks so staying awake for 2 hours at an odd time once every 2 weeks is not that bad.
There is no true or false. My question is not whether it is possible or not but why? If you live in the US why would you play on Innova?
I don't really understand as how alot of people did not saw on the NcSoft page that they will be opening new servers when GoD release? So Innova AND NcSoft will both have new servers! And yes, I am waiting to play on NcSoft new server even that, I am an "EU" person!

A: Yes. When Goddess of Destruction launches, current players will remain on their current servers. Additional servers will be added to accommodate the influx of new players and returning former players. After launch, if you decide to resettle your character to another server, you will be able to purchase a character transfer.

As NcSoft stated, the game will be different from 1 to 85 ! You will mostly gain XP grinding AND questing. Also , they will be giving free "gifts" as you level up! For exemple , at level 40 you will get a C weapon ( not shadow ) and armor , at 52 B weapon and armor and so on, up till S grade! And beside those, you will get some Vitality potions or some short of food which restors your Vitality!
But I am pretty sure that those weapons are low-grade, but even so , it's better then nothing

xp needed for each lvl is reduced. Is somewhere in official forum patch notes (its down atm).
Dont remember the lvls, but i think this applys to 1-80.

And as you said, you'll level up alot faster! Readed some Innova announcements that you will level up like x4 faster then how is it now ! + Vitality + Vitality Replacement Food ! I think Everything will be alright
