An inquiry regarding Flashpoints!

in Star Wars: The Old Republic

I've heard that SW:TOR will launch with about 15 Flashpoints. 

I know that some of them will be faction specific, like the Esseles for the Republic (Which looks so ace btw). 

My question is, will all of the flashpoints be avaliable for one faction at end game in some sort of heroic version? Or are there essentially just 7 (give or take, don't know the exact number) Flashpoints available for each faction?

    It's not a 50/50 split between republic and empire. Most of them are available to both sides and a few are faction specific, I believe I heard 12 are available to both. Not 100% sure.

    I don't think opposite faction ones are available to you at the end. It wouldn't make sense with the story parts inside.

    I think if i recall correctly that each flashpoint (dungeon) can be put on hard mode which is basically the level 50 version of the same dungeon.

    Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

    Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

    I remember seeing the Esseles one and thinking it was really epic! I really hope the Empire gets an equivilant.

    yea all the flashpoints will have hard mode at level 50. From everything ive read from bioware.

    The empire version of Esseles is Black Talon. It's about the same thing only the Empire are the aggressors in theirs.

    I don't know guys. He's asking if Empire can do the republic flashpoints at 50. I'm pretty sure the answer is no. There are a few faction specific flashpoints.

    Esseles, for example, would make absolutely no sense for empire players to be doing. Defending a republic transport from Empire attackers? I don't think so.

    Yeah I figured as much .. Was just wondering considering they were bragging about having 15 Flashpoints at launch. Figures you'd have to play both factions to experience them all. 

    Still, it is an impressing number and I'm really excited!
