Seems kinda ridiculous but I'm starting to see an uprise that even cartoony developers are getting on the sandbox MMO wagon!

Sad that they decided to model the characters like that, rather than something more traditional.
As a single player game, I don't think it would bother me to have those sorts of characters. As an MMO, it would drive me absolutely bonkers.
But, who knows? Millions of kids have played Maple Story, so this game may do well.

Wow that looks really cute. Deifnilty looks like it can be fun, though fact it only runs on a browser is a turn off.

It really, really depends on what kind of game mechanics exist outside of what they've shown in videos. So far, it is just more of the same, but with the weird little paper mario graphics. Of course, if they release the game and it's a fully functional sandbox world, it'll be ahead of pretty much every other sandbox mmorpg that's released in the last few years.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
