So this is the 2nd character I have discovered this bug on and its damn near gamebreaking in my opinion. The only conclusive evidence to recreate the bug comes from playing marathon long gaming sessions and my left/right Mouse pointer quits responding whether it be responding to VO or when I am clicking any skill on the hotbar (not that I am a clicker but I dont bind everything) it even makes it so I cant log out because of course I cant hit any of the choices when I hit my ESC key. This sint so bad but as soon as I Alt+F4 and go to log in all my keybinds, graphics settings and prefences are reverted back to default state. It is pure hell setting everything up the way I like and I dont want to have to do it all the time like that.

That is what bug report and beta feedback is for my friend. I have only come across keybind reset bug so far and it happens only when i crash.
I had a pretty serious map bug that I couldn't fix... all the marks on the map were stuck in the upper left corner (including the arrow representing me), and nothing I did fixed it (including relogging, reloading the UI, etc). Hopefully they'll get that straightened out before release.
If you use your recall it resets the map. That is the only fix for it now.
You mean your recall spell/ability that gets you to a bindpoint?

Yes works everytime.
Why would you post a beta bug here? They have a forum for that. The only conclusion I can come up with is "drama".
On top of that, you are talking about a key binding bug, which for most people would not be game-breaking.
Preference-breaking would be more accurate. I can think of many game breaking bugs in games, but I have encountered none in this beta (others may have). In fact, this game is more bug free now, than many games are a year after release.
Cheers.
why not just log in set things as you want then log out thus saving the options.
Then when this bug happens in the future it wont make of diference if you have to alt + F4 or not.
Thanks. If the bug remains at launch, I'll know the fix.
Not sure that's a SWTOR problem; my mouse does that occasionally (in other games, it hasn't happened to me in SWTOR) - I blame the mouse driver.
I just unplug the mouse and immediately plug it in again; Windows reinitialises the driver and everything works again.
I saw some people talking about this in the last beta and experienced it in the previous beta. If you Right Click and Middle Click at the same time, sometimes it fixes it. This worked for me in the previous beta. You can also reset your UI to fix it.
This is definitely something they'll need to address before launch.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
So you post a bug report from a beta here which will actually help no one. I hope you did an ingame bug report or post in the bugs section of the tester forums because that will actually server to help in the testing effort.
In the previous beta I had the mouse thing happen once. In this one it never happened to me. This is a pretty darn stable game in my opinion.
As far as the Map bug all you have to do is alt tab out and back in and it fixes it. I recreated the bug multiple times in the fleet station. It was also listed on their known issues post on their forums.
Oh, no! A gamebreaking bug?!? MAYBE since you're in BETA you should report it through the proper channels!
That would be too much work, right.
The only game breaking bug i found was the lone pixel found near the chat.
That dam pixel is loose and must be caught and squashed.
The following statement is false
The previous statement is true
1) This not a 'gamebreaking' bug. It does not stop you from progressing in the game since you can work around it.
2) This is not SWTOR Beta Testing forum, which is where bug reports should be submitted.
3) I already reported this issue in the proper forum this past Thursday when it started and the devs are aware of it.
4) See you on launch day
Edit: To clarify that I was responding to the 'unable to logout and when you finally log back in all your ui and keybind settings have reset to default' bug.
That damned orange dot was evil, I thought it was my screen until I saw the same thing on my wife's rig!
