An AC1 ad amazing

I just noticed MMORPG.com has a new ToD banner in rotation. It's not completely blurry and overly compressed like the AC2 trial ad was. It's pretty good but of course it still doesn't live up to my standards. I guess Turbine can't please everyone (like me). They need to hire the guy who made the WoW ads. I still remember those flash banners, they were excellent and almost made me want to play WoW. It's still nice to see some ads.

Also it would have been good if they actually mentioned what new players got. 30 days free I'd assume but I know it's just the norm in the industry and they probably didn't want to put it up for fear of looking stupid. To me the ad reads 60 days free for returning players and nothing for new people. And the ad doesn't even seem like an expansion (which it is incase anyone new is reading), but more of a call back to old players.

The link the ad sends you to is good, nice and to the point selling the features of the expansion. Except it doesn't have any screen shots. I swear they are trying to hide them. Even on the main site I can't find an obvious page with the screen shots or even any game play movie. If anyone is looking, I know there are some on AC Vault, GameSpot and EB.

    In my opinion, that blue guy they are advertising with is the stupidest looking thing I have ever seen.

    It's the new race! Don't mind the fact it doesn't fit in at all with the other races. Turbine just gave in to all the complaints about only having humans to play as. So, they made a human spin off race that strangely resembles a stereotypical black person, only with blue skin.

    I really like the fact AC avoids fairy tale creatures, which it still does, but also only seeing human players was nice. It felt like I was really living in a virtual world where the characters were extensions of real people. I just don't get that feeling as much from someone who is playing an elf or any other creature.
