I see all the bad reviews and people mad about the bugs and all i can say is that i had fun. I agree there are alot of bugs and i see that the UI not having the ability to scale sucks but even if everyone says its long winded and linear i still feel that with the right follow up it is and will be a great game. What no one thinks about is what can be done after release. when most people buy a home they see what it is, but for those of us who really know whats up, we see what it can be. The game play was fun and the story is fantastic. The draw backs i felt that were annoying were the ease of the game and the some graphic issues that can be easily fixed. I felt the game was far to easy with the ability to stealth rez but im sure some of the harder content will remedy that.
I was able to get an agent to 25 and lvl across 4 planets. Each planet was fun and engrossing and came close to the feeling i got the first time i stepped into mularn in DAoC all those years ago. Everyone says for a 120 mil budget it should be better but i think for my 60 dollar investment it can and will hold me till i feel that i got my moneys worth. I will enjoy this game and so will many others. If you didnt enjoy it then i hope gw2 will be everything swtor is to me.
also sorry for the grammar mistakes....my force is weak in those skills

i find the argument about bugs hilarious from some people. I've played in countless other betas and this game BY FAR is the most polished of them all.
Is there bugs? Sure. But lets have some perspective people. i really wish people could understand just how much work goes into making an MMO. Especially one on this scale.
Glad you could bypass all the rabble and decide for yourself. Take heart that there are a lot of players that ended up preordering after playing, while many here would make you believe they all cancelled their preorders, most of them saying that never pre-ordered in the first place.
See you at launch
yah i played in alot of betas over the years and for a stress test this one went very well. In the WoW beta the servers were so laggy you couldnt loot anything. I think this shaped up to a good weekend for swtor.
wow just noticed how old my acct is and how few posts i have...i need to be more vocal
I agree with OP. But I'd also add the issues with audio. Don't get me started on battleground related audio issues. Huttball feels like a def soldier walking through a fire pit with an angry short guy yelling at him.
Otherwise the game is pretty solid, a few fixes here and there and it's well worth the payment and at least a year of play for me.
lol yah i forgot about the sound issues. But im sure they will be fixed fast. I loved how they asked via surveys how your game experience was and they did it enough to make it so it felt that they actually were intrested in what we had to say.
See you at launch!

Edit: Op, glad you like the game!! I'm a total fanboi myself....and no amount of grumpy old forums posters are gonna change my mind!
I did too..
And I stand by my opinion that Stress Tests and OB weekends are big time "decision makers" when it comes to pre-orders.. To hell with all that "Oh well, you are just here to find that missing R in that quest text and nothing more. FREELOADER!!1!!" crap..
I did as well. Sure there are things in which I would like different in the game but overall I judge on whether I enjoyed playing it, and I enjoyed playing it in the beta.
