Now that we have the NDA lifted as well as a lot of us having experienced first hand how the game plays in the Beta.
We can now make an informed choice whether or not to play the game.
What is your choice?

Not at release. I'll wait until the purchase price drops to about $40.00. That will be in about 3 - 6 months.

I didnt have high hopes for the game before the beta weekend.
But after Playing the sith warrior, agent and inquisitor i was sold lol
I havent had so mutch fun in a mmorpg since the first time i played star wars galaxies.
100% Most definatly. Played beta two weekends in the row and loved it. So excited to get back to the game. Decided to preorder soon as the last beta ended.

I still have two weeks vacation time saved up for early access / release. Gonna fill the fridge with beer, stock up on munchies, and not move from this chair for as long as humanly possible.

It's a bit too expensive for me right now. I only played Beta until level 10 but I was starting to get bored with all the running around. I'm holding out for D3 and GW2, but if they aren't on the horizon by the end of Q1 2012 who knows.
Might do when it goes on sale next year.
I'm buying it and giving it as gifts to friends, but I decided NOT to play it, and instead train a monkey to play it for me.
He's like my monkey companion, and I'm forcing him to do the mission skill of SWTOR.
No. The reasons I will not play SW:Tor are the same reasons I choose not to play Rift.

yay no NDA anymore. Yes beta tested 2 different weekends played inquisitor,trooper,jedi knight, bounty hunter, and smuggler. And I loved playing them all never got bored. I pretty much love everything about this game. The only ppl ive heard that have a problem with it is because of the price it is now or dont want to or cant pay the monthly fee. Even in beta pretty much everyone liked it except for a handful of ppl compared to the 1,000 ppl in general chat that loved it. When asked directly they couldnt point to a real reason as to why they didnt like it. I would suggest it to everyone, as it is very fun. It lives up to the hype and even more. With WoW on the decline and GW2 being F2P, This game is gonna have a huge subscription base considering over 1 million ppl have preordered. Pretty staggering number for something most havent played yet.

Most definitely. The husband and I both pre-ordered the collector's edition and can't wait to explore Bioware's Star Wars universe.

Currently playing SWTOR and it's MUCH better than it was at launch.
I've never been much of a fan of star wars. I have nothing against it, just never really piqued my interest. Based on gameplay alone, while I found the voiced stories a nice touch, I don't feel any draw to play it. Someone else on here stated they weren't playing for the same reasons they didn't play Rift. I feel somewhat the same. If you don't care about star wars, then it's pretty much the same old gameplay recycled. On top of that, with EA publishing and the greed they are known for, not touching it.
Pre-ordered three copies and my two boys get to take off school for three days to play in the headstart as long as they have A's at the time in class. I have those days off, the wife already has plans to run around with her friends and leave us alone. We have already started working on our shopping list of food items to get us through those 5 days of gaming bliss!
Yup I loved the beta and can't wait to play for real. If people are on the fence I am sure the game will be alot better 6 months from now. There are alot of minor things that need tweeking, such as the UI. I loved this game warts and all
Nah. I'll sit this one out. I was utterly bored in the beta. It's weird to hear some people say they couldn't get enough of it. I guess I was expecting a new fresh feeling to the game. Instead it felt like I had resubbed to WoW. This will definitely be hugely successful on release. Will be interesting too see how they handle the launch with so many people.

Story telling part was great, but the rest was shallow and poorly made.
Its like Bioware did all the cool story stuff and Cryptic did the rest

I'm guessing somewhat similar to how they handled this last beta test, which is to say pretty damn well. The servers were almost always full yet I had no issues except for lag every now and then and when I did get stuck in queue it was only for about 15 minutes even though the expected time said something like 45 mins.
On that note, most definately buying it! I'm only sad that I won't get to keep my character from the weekend =( which is saying a lot since I chose to play a SW precisely because it was the class that interested me the least XD

Absolutly. I ordered my collectors edition day 1 of pre-orders and am taking 10 days off from work starting on the 15th.
