I thought the new episode was kind of lame with Jack O'niel barely in it. Also carter should have been in it. I wish Richard Dean Anderson would keep being in the show as a part of the cast. Vala had some corny lines also (nice outfit though). Anyways im wondering how the rest of the season will be w/o o'niel.........
Now that sg1 has a ceiling coming down...it looks like this is the end of stargate sg-1

You won't see Amanda Tapping in hardly any of the episodes because when these were made she was in her last trimester.
Yeah Amanda missed the first 5 shows Claudia is so dead sexxy though she makes up for it. I think the perfect line for the end of the show when the roof was collapsing would have been this..
After she looks at daniel and says this isnt good he should have said "Well... theres still enough room for you to get on your back and spread your legs"
Then she woud have replied "This is true but unfortunately there would only be enough time to accomodate you!"
LOL it totally would have fit their characters..
Anyway i love the changes. They had fully explored the previous story line and to be honest jack was getting kinda tiresome. I'm an old farscape fan so i'm very happy to see ben and claudia on the show even if claudia wont be a primary character she still adds flare.
I also think the first episode for Atlantis this season blew away everything and anything they did last season. The show is quickly living up to its potential.

Agreed on Atlantis, but Ford only lasted fully 1 season. I read all of the episodes and Ford is only in like 4 more the whole season.

oo damn. i think personally that taking out o'neill was a mistake. and kinda ruins a lot of things. i think atlantis is still doing as good as it was last season, and battlestar can only get better, yet its already soo good. i was really looking forward to Battlestar on friday, i wasnt dissapointed.

Well taking out O'neill wasnt a mistake it's called retirement lol he's done acting. Embrace the change. They have some good actors coming in and the new storyline is going to be real good with the evil ancients.

Man i really rather watch Farscape anyday over SG-1 or Atlantis...
I used to tell my girlfriend about farscape all the time... And if we are spending time together I would tell her I have to go so i can watch farscape.. but she never watched it... she said it was too nerdy
But then last month I called and asked her what she was watching on tv... and she was like this really cool show about a guy that accidentally used a worm whole and got yada yada yada... And I was like OMG!!!! YOU"RE watching freakin Farscape!!! and she was like.... really? the she said she really likes it... She ended up watching like 4 episodes in a row because it was a marathon

I'm a huge Farscape fan
It kinda reminded me of the old british sci fi's i grew watching like blakes 7 and dr who. I still think SG1 is a better show though. The storyline was getting kinda old but thats because they were trying to tie things up before Richard Dean Anderson retired. The last few years were all focused on beating the goa'uld and not so much on exploring. They're supposed to be getting back into exploration mode.
EDIT - HOLY SHIT Methane i just did that WU name thing and um well its scarey. I'm Copeland a lvl 70 wizard on EQ with 1000+ aa's always in a top guild and such. My Wu Name is - UNGRATEFUL WIZARD! Too spooky!

And About which is better Farscape or StarGate SG-1... well I'll always go for FarScape although I understand that their were some crazy episodes that threw people off abit... Like the Looney Toons episode... and pretty much all the episodes that took part in Crichton's head.... But I still liked it and So did millions of other viewers thats Why it got awarded best Sci Fi Series a couple times in a row
But I too hate those stupid episodes... BUT YOU HAVE TO ADMIT there were some really retarded episodes in StarGate along the same lines as the Looney Toon ep from FS.... Just FS seemed to kick out many more per season than SG-1

I have to say, SG1 is my favorite show and I wasn't impressed. Its not so much the lack of the main characters, its the replacements that I dont care for. They are ok, Im just hopeing they will get better.
