I doubt youll see any free trials because first, they have an absurd amount of subscribers, and second, they know that 90% of the people who play will see how insane the grind is and head in the other direction.
That's a real shame. I loved Lineage, and I've been following this game closely, but I'm very wary of signing up to any MMORPG without sampling it first. Reviews and ratings are all well and good, but people have such varied opinions and tastes that they're only of limited use. I'll probably never be able to play it, being a poor student and all I don't exactly have money to throw away wantonly...
