Its a 2d/3d game set back in medieval times, there are 3 empires to choose from that you have to work to join.  Swords, Dragons, Rangers, and the games currently being worked on and OPEN to so many ideas. The ideas there putting in this game are amazing. Horses, alot more economy is being brought into the game, Taxes, player interest, buy your own house, or boat.  Buy add on fors your house like an arena, extra bedroom or other pool and you can have other players in your house with your own house key. Guilds within the empire also, wars, and challenging events.  You have ideas! Bring Them.  Just go to www.EmpiresOnline.net go to downloads and download the lastest version, extract it to a folder on your desktop and begin to play this amazing game!

PS.  My empires accepting people as of now until our new capital is finished being built.  Just look for my name on the game, for tips on how to play go to the main site and look at players guide.   Just remember Usic sent you and ask Rath if you want to join.     Its not anything like runescape. The features are fine just you call it 2d/3d all I see is 2d. ::::16::

    This game sort of looks like it is circa 1990. Am I missing something? I guess there is not really very much on the website to shed some light.

    I agree.

    It does look as if it is a throwback to earlier times. Like you, maaybe I missed something as well.
