I agree however that this game could reallly use some "community love" and I am really looking forward to it.

Do you mean mods? There are lots of mods for skyrim.

I have over 100 hours in Skyrim.

My gameplay slowed down quite a bit with this weeks Terraria 1.1 content update (put 300 hours into it so far) but I will return once I collect all my armor and items :)

    Playing: Nothing

    Looking forward to: Nothing

It's a good game, but nothing special. Probably one of the better ports I've seen despite the UI and some bugs.

    Morrowind is better.

I'm not really bothered about the voices, they are varied enough or perhaps it is the accent that is creating an illusion of not sounding identical.

Something that does bother me is that every npc needs to talk just because you look at them wheter you are standing there or just passed by.. something which get really annoying when you need to follow an npc in a quest, they stop and use the same line over and over all the time unless you walk infront of them or walk backwards/looking to the side or follow from far behind.

I have around 100 hours into it. And while I am getting a little tired of certain things I still love skyrim.

I feel that even if I never picked it back up again I got my moneys worth 2x over with this game. Not many games at all i spend 100 hours in except MMO's.

    Where did you 'read' this?

    Google "Skyrim 40 hours"

    Hell, Google "Skyrim 200 hours"

I'm really curious what sites you're reading for your information.

Yes me too kind of over it myself it was nice initially but yes the NPCs are annoying. I am fed up with the game already. It was fun but not the second coming some here raved about.

I'm 110 hours in now and 52% done with the main story line.  Level 41 I believe.  Spend a lot of time exploring.  I could be much further along but I like to explore.  I've gotten side tracked on side quests.  Working on crafting too but then it felt like it was making me level too fast.

I may try to get further on the main story here in a bit so I can be ready for TOR.  Ahhh....but I say that and as soon as I log in I will probably be distracted again.  Maxed armorsmith and been working up enchanting.  I need to fill some more soul gems.

I've played roughly 140 hours so far.  Having fun, but yea, the npc's saying the same thing over and over gets annoying.   There should be some variety.  character is 49th, named Talos.  has 100 in smithing, enchanting, alchemy, and destruction.  90ish in speech.  Started working one handed and heavy armor.

Finished the main questline and mages questline.  Still got alot of side quests to do.  character has 200 K septims.  seems the game still has alot of stuff to do, not to mention doing new characters.  I hear max level is in the 70's, so after hitting max level probably stop running the char after that.

    ==========================
The game is dead not, this game is good we make it and Romania Tv give it 5 goat heads, this is good rating for game.

I dual wield..and my offhand has a 4second soul-trap on it. I always lead with an off hand strike then finish them main-handed. It's great for filling up all the soul-gems in my inventory.

It's got some balance issues. Sneaky characters are way over powered. The game has become trivial on master level for me. I have heard it's alot harder being a Mage, I will try that next.

I also agree with the number of voice actors. Too many repeats.

There are some really funny ones. I love the viking dudes who are like "What's the matter?? Someone steal your sweatroll?" This guard said that to me as he was walking out of my house after visiting my wife! I proceeded to shoot him in the head.

Anther favorite, "I am not a man, I am a weapon in human form, just unsheathe me and point me at the enemy."

Also, I have nothing against people with alternative lifestyles, but homosexuality seems to run rampant in Skyrim. Even the meanest of barbarian Nords all wanted to marry my assassin dude.

I am confident the mods will fix this game properly within 6 months or so.

As a dedicated stealth archer I can only semi-agree with you. Sneak characters generally suck eggwater in close range combat, and the really powerful enemies have spawning mechanics that make them nigh impossible to sneak up on. x15 damage daggers are fun, but good luck trying to land that against a dragon or high level draugr. What really makes bows super powerful is not the stealth itself, but the bonus mechanics- you can stagger enemies over and over again with arrows while landing continuous sneak attacks, allowing you to kill Dreadlords and other really powerful foes before they can even turn around and fight back.

That being said, practically every combat strategy is overpowered in it's own way. The top level Destruction spells are stupidly overpowered, especially when you get items which reduce or even eliminate the need for mana cost (er, "magika"). Beefy melee characters can use crafting skills to make armor that makes them completely immune to magic and nearly immune to physical attacks. And of course everyone can become a werewolf, who's crazy power attack basically makes even the most powerful melee encounters a joke.

I've been following a modding thread that apparently fixes the camera so that players can effectively control any creature in the game... even non-humanoid ones. Fun stuff. I'd love to see the strategies that could come out of a future modded-in shapeshifting class...

Yeah..blackreach surprised me. When I hit the vast underground cavern ,,all luminescent ..it was really beautiful. Then to see the giant walking about down there was cool. I'm pissed off though cause i found the crimson nirn root and didn't realize the quest  "discovering your roots" or whatever was continued down there as well. Later I found the farm with the lady whose master was the one who you need to find down there. (Or as i imagne his journal or remains perhaps).. guess I'll head back one day.lol.

I'm 118hours in and have only done 4 main story quests and 83 side/misc quests, I made sure to open up Random Dragon Encounters that's why I only did a few of the main quests.  I really do love this game and I had a choice to buy it on the PC or Xbox360 and I decided the Xbox360.  I have had no glitches, freezing issues, framerate hiccups, a big plus from Oblivions nasty bugs.  I'm enjoying it very much, but with the SWTOR launching two thursdays from now, it looks like I may be putting Skyrim on hold till next Spring.

I'm still enjoying Skyrim many many hours in.  I've paid way less than $1/hr of play for this game.   There is a lot more to do in Skyrim than Oblivion.  Skryim reminds me more of Morrowind than it does Oblivion gameplay wise.

I did have some graphical glitches and things showing up transparent.    I had to change my  Anti-Aliasing mode from Adaptive Multi Sample to Multi Sample.  I did this using my catalyst control center settings.  I'm sure Nvidia has something similar.  I also found that if you disable the 360 controller and Vibration settings the games smooths out a bit too.   You can find these settings by going to the settings menu while in game.

I've installed various mods.  A few off the top of my head are  glowing ore, more craftables, a nitem meltdown mod, some HD textures and a few others.  They all work like a charm.  I'm using the Nexus Mod Manager from the Skyrim Nexus mod site.

If you haven't already seen this information somewhere else I hope this helps you and makes your game time a bit more fun.

whoa 190 hours? That's like.. 8 hours a day every day for the past 24 days.

I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.
