So firstly - can I apologise - I've been infacted for posting the Sword of Tears event into the Froum - reason for infaction: Advertising.
So I'm really sorry. I didn't realise that talking about upcomming Events would be in-breach of the rules.
Can I get some clarification please -- am I not allowed to talk about big Events in the game? Or was it the way I phrased the post please?!!
Sorry again
Many thanks!

I think you would get more result sending a private message to the moderator in question, rather then trying to make a PR show out of your "apology". Just a tip.
Just shows how completely useless and onesided these forums are, and how full of shit the moderation team is.
Total bullshit!
Will do that too (thanks) -- And was not a PR apology - was mortified when I saw it.

OK - there was no name on the Infractions so don't know who to speak to.
There was no reply option so I've mailed community@mmorpg.com - is this correct?
Thanks

Reason for infraction was most probably because they have a rule saying that officials of the game are not allowed to advertise it, seems pretty fair to me.
I think your infraction should include the following text at the very end of it (in the "unverified" inbox):
If you believe you received this in error or would like more information please respond to this message or send an email with the details to community@mmorpg.com
I think it is pretty clear what to do, no?:)
Yep found it and had a reply - just trying to clear it up so I don't get in trouble again!

You are a GM and a Moderator yourself, I think you know better then making a public thread about a warning (which even on mofo is against the rules I think?), that is why I called PR on it.
Yeah we can't ever miss a chance to put things in a negative light can we?
I have powers to shut down the odd thread but I only do this when vital - I am not and have never been a Mod. Also this is all pretty new to me (speaking for SV) so I was bound to get a few things wrong - sorry again. Have been a GM / Counsellor the whole time I've been with SV.

Thank you - had a quick email exchange with MikeB - he took the time to explain where I went wrong.
I won't do it agian.
