What is Uberchar?
Have you ever thought about being able to talk about your daily MMO activities with your guildmates, share your funniest and best screenshots, brag about your achievements and first kills or find old guildmates from games that you don’t even play anymore, all in one shiny Social Network that’s full of MMO players? Well, if you ever thought about that kind of stuff I can promise you that you’re gonna love Uberchar…
“Wow, you seem really confident about that, aren’t you? ”.
“Yes, I’m sure, I’ve been playing MMOs since Ultima Online and I’m really enjoying it. I’m prety sure that if you like MMOs you will love it too”.
So, what is Uberchar? To put it simple, it’s the Social Network for MMOs.
I use social networks on a daily basis and I used to keep contact with some of my guildmates in most of those websites, but the problem is that we always feel that that is not the place where we should share THAT information, the rest of our contacts don’t understand it, nobody appreciates this information and everything that we share on that Social Networks in time gets completely lost. For example, if I upload a screenshot of my guild killing Arthas for the first time, I want people to, first, understand who is Arthas without even have to look at it, and second, understand the big achievement that killing this mob means to us!
That’s just an example but Uberchar doesn’t end there. As I said it’s just the beginning. We want to give players a real Social Network to interact with other players, a place to persist in time through the screens and videos of their characters, to brag about achievements, to join new guilds (and for guildleaders to be able to recruit nice members), to find old guildmates, to use player developed applications like skill configurators designed for mmorpgs, livestream services for guilds to stream their raids, connectivity with steam, automatic feed publish from your favourite MMO RSS sources like Wow’s armory… and the list goes on.
Here begins our trip and, let me tell you… we are going to blow your mind!

The calculator works good (btw, are this the last beta build talent trees?), seems nice and useful, I was looking for something like that. Thank you, didn't know about your site but looks great. Will check it out.
also check out http://www.torhead.com/calculator/skill#700.1
Hey Joshua, thanks for the suggestion ^^ yeah, I'm aware of Torhead's one, I'm familiar with DH's Calc also. All that calcs works the same way, the thing I like about this one is the ability to save the build and see my guildmates trees. Nice addition indeed. At least that site will keep my mind off the looong awaited early access for the next few hours
well, I wonder if SWTOR will copy WoW's armory setup.
Also, I just found that a bit ago, first time seeing it. and with WoW's next big talent change, it made me realise, SWTOR ISN"t copying WoW. because WoW's talent calc will be retarded now
The new talent system from MoP is the greatest deterant for me to ever go back. I actually like the monk class idea. I am hoping that SWToR never ever goes with an awful talent system like that.
wow, looks quite better than the torhead calculator
