Last names?

in Star Wars: The Old Republic

  When you create your character are you able to make a first and last name?  Or just single word names?

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

    There is something called the 'Legacy' system in-game that will allow you to create a last name once you've reached a certain point in your story-arc...

    EDIT: I seen the post about legacy names after I posted. Glad to see they have something for this.

    Legacy system gives you the choice of a last name. The name will be with all your characters on that server. Legacy system unlocks after chapter 1 is complete.

    How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release?

    ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6.
    US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian.
    Subs will be so low there is no need for more
    Snoocky-How many servers?
    The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...

    Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.

    The Legacy system is closest to your character have a last name.

    IT's an awful half-arsed system because it will force all your alts to use only that last name.

     

    Wish they hadn't tied the 2 together. This was an MMO supposed to be focused on the immersion experience of the genre. And BW goes and does this. Thoughtless and stupid.

    Thank GOD they did something like this, so that we wont have abusers, u get a bad fame on the server it is like server bound, no point in rerolling, u ninja loot something u get stomped on any char u create
