are the old mmo dead?

I was wondering if the old mmos like ac, DAoC and so froth are still playable? Is there still people playing or are they dead?im thinking of trying one of these games to check them out. :)

    I just got DAOC myself. Right now the new servers they implemented are exploding so now would be a good time to join if you're interested. So I guess the answer is no, they are not dead.

    The only thing I can think of that might make an old mmorpg have alot of people playing is maybe if you can find a free server for the game. Im guessing some of the good ones have quite some people still.

    ah ok thank you ill give it a shot :) ill most likely get both ac and DAoC :)
