When ea took over bioware. they merged mythic which made warhammer and daoc with bioware, which is knowon for its single player games like dragon age and mass effect
so in effect bioware/mythic is now what bioware's studio is named. Warhammer is still run by mythic but is under biowares name as far as branding of the company goes.
Nothing, but sine Bioware is now a division of EA they are trying to market this crap product under the bioware name to get some sales from the unwary would be my guess.

Close but not quite... when Mythic was developing Warhammer, they needed cash and went to EA who bought them but left them mostly intact. EA had bought the holding company that owned Bioware (a holding company where Bono was an investor...trivia for another day) the previous year.
Mythic and Bioware reamained separate and it wasn't until EA went trhough massive lay-offs and Warhammer started losing subs, that Mark Jacobs (Mythic CEO) was fired and Bioware was brought in to "help-out" on WAR.
Over time Bioware/Mythic have become more intertwined but if you go on the WAR website today, you'll have a hard time finding the Bioware brand anywhere. "Mythic" and "EA" is what you'll see.

Wrong.
EA merged Mythic into Bioware, fired ( read crapped on from a great height ) the guy that owned Mythic originally, renamed the new group Bioware / Mythic which was later changed back again and placed all of Mythic's projects under the Bioware umbrella.
lol i knew i didnt have it all correct. I just had learned that stuff by posts on forums . I dont really follow that stuff. I just found massively and mmorpg.com like a yr or 2 ago.
I did that because of mmo-champion. Thats how i learned about tor also.

BioWare Austin, the team that is making SWTOR is different from BioWare Edmonton the team that made Dragon Age/Mass Effect.
BW Austin/Mythic team are working on SWTOR.

Hey no problem man. I ususally don't follow any of that industry garbage either. I just happened to live through it as beta tester and WAR player who saw the EA purchase, the lay-offs, the firing of Mark Jacobs and BW coming in.
As you can imagine, there were thousands of posts in their forums about this stuff and a lot of predictions of doom and gloom (not entirely wrong) from the moment EA came into the picture.

BioWare is responsible for all RPGs, whether single player or online, that EA produces. This therefore includes Warhammer Online and the new Wrath of Heroes.
Nothing, but sine Bioware is now a division of EA they are trying to market this crap product under the bioware name to get some sales from the unwary would be my guess.

They merged with the Warhammer online team if i recon

No one but Bioware can say for sure but i'll speculate some for you.
EA owned Warhammer
EA Acquired Bioware or partnered or w/e
EA said for the love of god help us with this game
Bioware said dolla dolla bills yall
EA said sure here!
Bioware said we'll get around to it
Bioware sent a few of their pros to see what can be done
Then they develop some MOBA
Are probably working on some other updates too.
Everything I say is my opinion or personal preference. You may or may not find it useful to your cause but regardless I am entitled to it.

There are former members of the WAR team working on SWTOR now as well, James Ohlen was at Mythic I think wasn't he?
Not sure about ohlen but gabe armantelengo i think i spelt his name wrong. The guy doing pvp is from mythic. He also is lead dev on flashpoints
I know they have mythic guys working on tors pvp. So some of the mythic devs have come to bioware.

I need to take this advice more.
The company is now called Mythic Bioware. Of course you won't hear Bioware calling themselves this.

You've got that the wrong way round. But yeah. But Bioware do still seem to call themselves just that.
some devs from War on PVP team.
Simply put...
BioWare is responsible for all RPGs, whether single player or online, that EA produces. This therefore includes Warhammer Online and the new Wrath of Heroes.
Much like DICE oversees all FPS games now.
I totally agree with this statement...
Explains the stupid bolster system.
