About us





Omen is a Republic guild which offers it's players a unique gaming experience with a group of relaxed but experienced MMO players. Our main goal is to have a strong presence both in the game's pvp and pve content, and provide a stable and laid-back environment for our members.



The core of Omen has been together for a long time, and we 've been playing games together since 2004. We  've had a presence in most MMO launches, from Lineage to WoW, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Finaly Fantasy XI, Eve and Rift. While our main focus this time will be SWTOR we also plan to casually play other games such as LoL, Starcraft 2, Dota 2 and Diablo 3. Members of Omen as well as members from other friendly or even rival Swtor guilds are welcome to join us in those games as well.







Our philosophy





All of Omen’s members share the same belief: gaming is for fun. As a guild, we do everything in our hands to ensure that every one of our members is enjoying the game and is experiencing all it has to offer. We try to build a strong community, where everyone can rely on each other and feel comfortable. We know people will enjoy their game in different ways, that’s why we make sure we address this by dividing our player base into different categories. Whether you want to play pvp or pve, casual or hardcore we ‘ll do our best to fulfill your needs. When you apply you will be asked whether you want to play on a more relaxed level where you can group with other members when you feel like it, or if you want to be added to our raiding team, which will be tackling the end-game content on regular weekly sessions.

After many years of gaming, we know that one of the biggest issues for a player are his RL responsibilities. We all have jobs/studies/crazy girlfriends that might disrupt our gaming routine, and that is something we completely understand. We do not enforce any hardcore attendance policies, but when you do show up for an event, we expect you to perform at your best. We can tell if a member is currently having issues or he is simply slacking, we ‘ve all been there and done that in the past.





Things we expect from you







You must reside in Europe and be able to speak English

You must respect your guild mates, when you join you 're part of a team

Know how to behave, we got zero drama tolerance

Be active in the game and in our forums

Know your class, read forums/guides and ask questions

If you want to be a raider, make sure you have the time for this commitment

Must have Mumble installed

Mic is not required, but it’s a bonus
