Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Early Game Access: Ready to patch
Whats this mean? I'm already fully patched. Does that mean I'm able to play tomorrow?
Comments
no, it means that when they send you the e-mail that you can now log in, you will be all patched up and ready to go.
Hrm when were they supose to sent to emails anyway ? kinda forgot :P
Ah right, thanks
they send the email the day your allowed to join in early access is what Iv read countless times.
They said they will start sending out emails tomorrow, on the 13th, around 7am EST US time and throughout the week based on the order in which they received the preorder codes.
When did you enter your preorder code to the website? IIRC the Nov 2nd thing was for the first weekend stress test. This is just a guess, but I wouldn't bet on playing tomorrow if you entered your code any later than middle of August. Not everyone will get 7 days early access.
I entered it the 9th of august
Does anyone remember the date pre-orders went live ? was it July 22nd ?
It's amazing with finals finishing today, how paranoid I've become about not getting access tomorrow..it feels really..pathetic, but I can't help it
July 21st
It's an internal date. BAsically it means when your account was flagged by their system as having guaranteed EGA.
w00t
Everyone's accounts are now live, but subscriptions are not. Depending on when you entered your pre-order code will depend on when your free month starts. I doubt you will get in on the 13th unless you pre-ordered at the end of July (first week of pre-orders)
9th august for me
I got 22nd July as my code date here hoping I get in on day one PS 18 hours 2 go!!!
Completely Wrong.
Your 30 days free with retail has NOTHING to do with your pre-order code.
The preorder code is ONLY used for EGA. NOTHING else. Starting tomorrow Bioware are allowing anyone with a Retail code to enter it on the site. The Retail code will automatically be activated on Dec 20th, once the servers come back up from a 2 hour maintenance.
I did mine the first day so musta been the 21st I guess, haven't got an email yet so I wouldn't worry if you haven't got one. Though I canceled my pre order so don't know if they can disable the codes?
they cant
Dont worry they can't de-activate your Pre-order code.
To find out when you entered your Pre-Order go to swtor.com My accounts Code Redemption.
One of the things listed will be Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ X Edition Pre-Order with a date.
We will find out at December 13th, 2011 , 7:00AM EST (Pacific: December 13th, 4:00AM PST; European: December 13th, 12:00PM GMT, 1:00PM CET) when we get in IMO.
Looking forward to launch, come on 7 AM tomorrow, please come faster!!!
Seems like the logical way of sneding out EGA is the 13 th = July/August Pre-orders , 14th = Sept/Oct pre-orders , 15=Nov/Dec orders
heres hoping :P
Sounds like the more reasonable way to do it
or 13th = July/August/Sept and 14th- Oct/Nov/Dec and 15th- space for people who didnt get the EGA in the batches. This is all from my own opioion so dont take it seriously
i ordered in Sept 22nd and i hope im in tomorrow ha
I'm just hoping the CS team sort out a code redemption bug thats affected a few people, me included.
Code validated and accepted on SWToR website but then didn't show under the code redemption area in the account section. Attempting to put it in again is rejected as code already used (to be expected if it was validated the first time).
After 4 days, 6 e-mails, 58 minutes on hold on the phone and twice sending in copies of the pre-order code e-mail plus screenshot of the same e-mail (don't ask, I just don't understand that one) has still not resulted in access showing on my account or in receiving at least an e-mail confirmation that my account will be part of the early access.
Sick of getting replys saying, have you got the latest Firefox/IE, have you cleared cookies/history etc, etc etc.......YES, YES and YES for the 6th time
It was also implied that if you were a regular beta tester you would go to the front of the line regardless of when you entered your pre-order code... That said the Dev also mentioned that pretty much everyone who was a regular tester also pre-ordered the day the game went on sale so the bonus is kind of a wash unless you pre-ordered months later...
That was NEVER implied or in fact, it was never even said. . Stop listening to dumb rumours.
