I did a tank video too.

I posted a video from NY Comic Con with Sorceror/Sage, but I was completely noob to SWTOR and Huttball, so I wasn't as clued in as when I did the other 5 videos, so keep that in mind when watching it:

If you want to see highly-skilled PVP healing stream replays, check out Tamgros on TwitchTV. Tamgros co-hosts with me on the GAMEBREAKER show for RIFT The Sanctum.

If you're looking for more streams with live commentary, check out my video replay archive on TwitchTV. I did play a Jedi Knight Guardian as my first character, but unfortunately that was before the NDA lift on Nov 18 and I did not record enough footage to make an Advanced Class video.

He does the same thing I do when deciding MVP. I look at top healer. I give it to no one but healers.  Haven't watched the other video's yet but enjoyed the first one about Sentinel.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

Usually give it to a healer, but not always. I keep an eye out on the people making a difference regardless what role they play.

There was one Alderaan match in Beta where a level 13 Commando helped hold an edge node for several minutes. He kept dying and coming back, but it's largely because of his tenacity that we held the node and pulled out the victory.

He got 3 or 4 MVP votes, which was cool because it showed that the rest of the team knew he was a huge factor in our winning, despite his not owning the scoreboard in terms of damage or heals.

Agreed, both in terms of MMO gameplay, as well as video and audio presentation.

Taugrim's a legit dude, watch his stuff... One of the best PvP commentators I've seen, explains stuff really well and knows what he's talking about.

There is typically one constant when it comes to vids released on sites:

Pve: Most classes ... other than Imperial Agent Operative.

Pvp: Most classes ... other than Imperial Agent Operative.

Those operatives sure are sneaky damn bastards! Nobody seems to be able to film them often :)

    You stay sassy!

I just registered here last night.

There was traffic coming to my blog from another thread on this forum, and some of the negative posts re: Gunslinger / Sniper made me facepalm sufficiently that I felt compelled to register and share my thoughts.

The biggest reason I started writing guides 6 years ago was because people kept posting opinions on classes that were off-the-mark, and I got tired of reading the same inaccurate takes over and over again.

    Have fun in TOR :)

Operatives/Scoundrels rock in PVP. Maybe the people who play them are good at stealthing / staying under the radar IRL.

Tamgros on TwitchTV has great footage of him playing an Operative healer.

Taugrim, while I got you here, a couple of quick questions regarding the Smuggler class:  Does the portable cover you use as a gunslinger give you the exact same protection you get from the gumbies?  Also, have you had a chance to play the Saboteur spec yet?  I'm looking into playing that one, but haven't heard a lot about it.  I know it does strong AoE damage, and I do enjoy explosives and grenades.  Just wondering if it would be a solid PvP and raid spec.

    1. Take Cover and Take Cover in Place give identical benefits, although if you use Take Cover to roll into a Gumby location, you can use it to close a gap or create separation

    2. didn't try Sab spec. Will work fine in warzones, World PVP, and in large pulls in PVE. For ST fights, I'd expect Sharpshooter to outperform Sab

Oi, Taugrim. Nice vids! Thanks a bunch. Very educational.

Would LOVE a Scoundrel / Operative pvp guide.

    Any chance on that?

This is just about the only worthwhile thread on these forums, very well made videos that are so informative.

    Thanx!
