Guild Wars 2: Mesmer Revealed as Final Class & Reddit AME Event

Someone slipped up somewhere and it has been leaked on a European site that the Mesmer is the final class to be revealed for Guild Wars 2. The team acknowledges that the Mesmer is the final class but that more will not be said before Wednesday.
Yes, mesmer is the final profession. Seems like someone jumped the gun. Official reveal will be on Wednesday. Stay tuned. ~RB

UPDATE: Our sources at NCSoft have informed us that they will be conducting a Reddit AME (Ask Me Anything) event with Arena.Net's Jon Peters on Wednesday. We'll keep you posted as details emerge!

My only fear was that they will actually not do mesmer class. For whatever reason.

Might be, who knows.
All I care about is the last minute. A mage-type class WITH A FREAKING GREAT SWORD. That's all you had to show to get me interested. Then I see him doing some crazy tricks with it that freaked my mind, so now I must try it out...
I was kind of disappointed... until I saw the video.

Looks cool.. i might consider playing one now even though I never played one in GW1. But honestly a class reveal at this point is just not enough. It's taking way too long for this game to make any real progress. I'm too jadded to really care about anything other than a release date at this point.. and a lot of guild wars fans on a fansite i go to our feeling the same way.

Finally... We all knew this was the last class... No big surprise, but now when I've seen the video for mesmers skills... I'm definetly going to roll a mesmer.
