Not a surprise - I'm sure more then a few people that canceled their pre-orders will log into the early access and realize they want to play the game and re-pre-order. Not a bad move on Biowares part. Also I'm sure they had no way of tracking pre-order keys with actualy orders.

ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6. US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian. Subs will be so low there is no need for more Snoocky-How many servers? The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...
Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.

I know exactly how you feel... I cancelled my Battlefield 3 pre-order after beta.. DOOM was just the superior game. Looked and played ten times better..

I just wish they would have updated the beta version instead of making you have to redownload another 25 gigs, which is almost half my data cap where I am at. Because of this I am going to probably ingore the email if I get it and just wait to buy the physical disk from the store (cancled my pre-order as well, no invite yet though).
Nevermind I played recent enough I do not need to re-download. Now where i smy invite?

EA has deserved bashing for years. It's just that now the SWTOR crowd is getting in on it.
I've hated EA since they torpedo'd Earth and Beyond (mock it all you want, it was one of my favorite MMOs of all time..).. but they have changed alot since those days and my fingers are crossed Bioware's bit of this will bring balance to the corporate force.
ya most i know either ignore swtor or go buy the physical thing .downloading the whole thing again i can understand their view they probably patched alot of early conten an they dont want old code with officially released code
Star Trek Online? Seriously? I really hope you're wrong about that, because STO was the biggest MMO disappointment in my lifetime. Had such high hopes for it, but it's almost totally crap. Crappy ground combat, repetitive space combat, stupid crafting, worthless starship interiors, too over the top character creation, lack of Klingon PvE content, real world $$$ ship models, and worst of all it's now going free to play.
I'm really a big Star Trek fan, but I found the game to be utterly unplayable. It's just not fun. And even having the Star Trek name on it isn't enough reason for me to play a bad game.
