Well, I can tell you that I loved the game, but only reached level 25 in beta.  I'm not going to tell you what to do with your money.  I guess I'd say that if you are really torn on the game, there is nothing wrong with waiting a couple of months to let the populations thin out, do some more research based on the feedback about the game, and hopefully many of the little bugs or annoying features about the game (like UI customization) have been improved.

But then again, if you find yourself still having the urge to buy it a week or two from now, then I say go for it. I think, at worst, this game will keep you occupied for a few months.  At best, maybe much longer.

FWIW, I definitely think it's worth the money.  But it depends on what you are looking for in an MMO.

If you have doubt wait for couple of months or more. If not then go ahead and enjoy the game. Simple decision really ;)

How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release?

ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6.
US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian.
Subs will be so low there is no need for more
    Snoocky-How many servers?
The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...

Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.

You can donate that money to that one charity that gives gifts to kids. Last year I donated my n64, 4 controllers, goldeneye, perfect dark, and super smash (in retrospect, terrible idea, i miss goldeneye). Then after a month of deliberation, decide what to do with your now renewed disposable income.

basically something different from wow, dont get my wrong wow is good but im just not into it. but im looking for pvp.. tried aion and got turned off when someone 15 levels lowere then me twinked out killed me with ease. so what im trying to say is a good pvp game with balance

If you pre order now you wont be getting early access for a few days I believe.  Dont quote me but I know that you at least wont get in tomorrow.

As much fun as I had in SWTOR and like the game, I'm going to wait a few months, see how things go, wait for all the starting zones to die down, and catch a good deal.

Two things: it gets better--much better--after 10. MMOs always have a lot of extra energy at release and for a couple of months...thry're usually more fun at that stage.

Dont spend on what you cant afford to loose, I went ahead an pre odered yesterday, and expect to play at best on 12/19/2011 to be honest

And I have little expectations, but I had the extra cash, and im bored, so ill go for it, and if in a few months the game is great then I wont have to buy it again. Im just not wasting my money on CE; did it with AoC, Tubula Rasa, and WAR. thats my 2 cents

If you are not 100% in right now, then wait.

Doubt is a sign of not being fully commited. Do things you really want to do.

I think TOR is the safest bet on a game since wow in all honesty.

If it loses 40% of it's user base the first month, that's probably going to leave a million people playing or some ridiculously high number that every other mmo that isn't wow would kill for.  EA wants that activision money, this is their shot.

Chances are if you enjoyed 1-10 you will at least get a months entertainment out of it, if money isn't tight I'd go for it and re-evaluate things in a month when a sub is due.

My thoughts are that you must be a very poor man, if you consider not buying a game which you had alot fun with. Why is it people need to know if the game rocks in 10 years ahead, before they buy it?

the game cost the same as a trip to the cinema, if you include food, popcorn and soda.

Either your just a strange man or your just very very poor and really have to consider ever penny you spend.

    Dont do it.

    Wait at least a month.

If you buy it now, you are not only a sucker ( and I been there AOC, WAR, Vanguard, TR ) but you are also helping EA ruin evolution of MMOs and make us play WOW clones to infinity.

If you wait. You will get patched game, no queues, player guides. And you will not help EA boost "We sold so maaaany games at launch!"
