Free trial question of n00bish proportions

I've just downloaded the free trial version (Apparantly 'tis 1.56), and whenever I try to run it a box pops up saying that it's in the middle of updating and I should try later. Is this normal?

Go to www.camelotherald.com If they say they are in the middle of an update they are, and they will say when they will be done.The update process usualy takes anytime between 1-4hours
Ahhhh, danke! They mention that all servers are down, which may be it... It's not like I'm going anywhere in any case.
