TOR maintenance before launch :-o

"Maintenance Window #2:

Date: Evening of December 19th (CST)

Time: 6PM CST (4PM PST/7PM EST/12AM GMT/1AM CET)

All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to complete before 11PM CST, and will mark the end of Early Game Access for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™."

 

So it looks like those of us playing EA will not be able to play for the last 4 hours of it.  Let the posts claming that the up to 5 days claim was never accurate because of this maintenance begin.

 

(To be specific I don't mind, I understand maintenance, I'm just expecting some upset folks)

    Not really, most games ive played have pre launch down time the day before. Nothing new here.

    Didn't think it was "new"

    Just figured people would want to know, since everyone is literally on the edge of their seat playing this game.

    It does seem odd to have 3 maintenances in like 6 days, but I mean it is a launch series of maintenances, so its understandable.

    I wasnt having a dig man, just saying for me anyways i expected. At least it gives the hardcores a window to get a shower and some sleep :)

    I hope I get into early access 2 hours before maintenance downtime. That'll be most excellent.

    Not complaining...just noting my habitual bad luck.

    Pretty normal for a new game to have a couple extra maintence, yes some will make a huge deal about it....

     

     

    I am sure in a month or so , probably be a weekly thing like usual and not quite this often.   But I imagine BW is making a few extra tweeks and such from all the info they got during the early access.

    Interesting point, I wonder how often their maintenances will be, and will it be on tuesday like that other well known MMO?

    I mean other wise weeks won't start on tuesday....

    They'll start whenever Bioware says they do!

    Tell us oh Bioware over lords, what day does the week start on?
