pre-order code redeem problem

I redeem my pre-order code last Friday and it never went into the Redeem History and still asking me to redeem the game when they change the "my account" UI.

When i enter the code last Friday, it does detect it as swtor standard edition pre-order than say successfully redeem but i have that problem i mentioned above.

When i re-enter the code, it saying the code is already use.

I contracted swtor support by email but they still haven't reply me yet.

Did any one of you experienced this before? Any idea with the problem?

Under account managment click on "game"....it should say that you redeemed your code and an email will be sent out for early access.....Mine also does not show on the "main page" but im pretty sure thats just a graphical error.

The update for my account took several hours, but you have tested it by entering it a second time. You received the message Code already used. That's says it all.

    -------

    Step 1:

Fill in your Pre-Order Code received from any shop (or origin)

    Step 2:

Wait till you get an email that your account is enabled for Early Release.

Basicly Pre-Order Code and Early Release are not the same. They are sending the Ealry Release emails in waves. They are done for today. Tomorrow at 2pm GMT the next wave will come. I believe they have invited all pre-orders from July, August and some of September. You are December, so my guess you will get it on Friday if you're lucky.

Any of this info can be found on SWTOR.com

I answered his question. Then added something more. Like you did. If you read these forums and SWTOR forums a lot of people hijack threads only because they believe pre-order code gives them auto access to early release or even believe pre-order is the actual gamecode. Just wanted to prevent this thread getting hijacked. And if you attack someone, please spell their name right.

dont act like annoying bioware droids posting something random out of blue, because they think person they talking to might deliusional..

and noone will attack you, because that support made me from wana play the game, to never buying it, and wow missed L

    Hi everyone!

There still seems to be confusion about the issue at hand. Let me start by clearing up a few things.

The product registration code is NOT your pre-order code. If you check under My Account, you will see the following message:

If you are a pre-order customer, the following steps are NOT required for Early Game Access. However, in order to play Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ at the official launch of the game on December 20, 2011, 12:01AM EST (Pacific: December 19th, 9:01PM; European: December 20th, 05:01AM GMT, 06:01 CET), you must first answer a series of security questions and provide your contact information. Then you must redeem a Product Registration Code that came with the game, and either subscribe to the game or redeem a Game Time Code. Follow the steps outlined below!

Unless you are one of the Europeans that I mentioned earlier with an actual copy of the game (with dvds and everything), you should NOT have a product registration code registered yet.

If you pre-ordered a digital version of the Game on Origin...the official Game Product Registration Code of your digital edition will be emailed to the email address associated with your pre-order starting on December 16th at 8:00AM PST.

For physical versions of the game, your product registration code will be in the actual game box when you receive it.

Please spread this information, as there seems to be a lot of confusion. You can also check out our FAQ page here for more details.

Early Game Access is ongoing and we will continue inviting people throughout the rest of this week based on the order that people redeemed their pre-order code. Please see the pre-order FAQ

This should have answered most concerns.

Now, the issue that we are currently trying to handle is the following:

if you have an actual Product Registration Code (as of this writing, it should only be those very few Europeans that got their game copies early by accident), and you are receiving an error after redeeming the code, please let us know in this thread.

I had exactly the same problem, pre-order code accepted but didn't appear on code redemption (which it definitely should). Trying it a second time verified the box version (standard etc) but when hitting confirm an error 'Code already used' is given.

This is now sorted for me but took 5 days, 7 e-mails and 2 calls (1 hour wait the first and 3 hours before being cut-off for the second).

It was at this point I sent a mail with COMPLAINT in the header. This resulted in support adding the code to my account at their end within a couple of hours, so it now shows in the code redemption section of my account. Lost 5 days in the early access queue but at least I'm in there now.

You need to send in the e-mail details of your account name, a screenshot/picture of your pre-order code and confirmation of where you bought the pre-order. That should get it sorted.....but be persistent and don't give in.

Digital downloaders will receive a product registration code on dec 16th....(this is not the code you got as soon as you bought the game at origin)......so on the 16th we will all get emails and be able to play....i think?

sadly i did it, and got email about some issue that was in beta, was totally random and out of blue.. might try with complaint.. and look another guy SPAMMING ABOUT  GOD DAMN GAME CODE, we are talking about preoder code not apearing on swtor account, and then code is being in use second time..

I've been having the same problem.  Bought the game, entered the code the day they brought their forums down.  I got the validation message (finally) after the website timed out nearly every time I tried to input it.  I expected an email or some other kind of notification but nothing ever came so I figured all would be well once the website came back up this week.  Instead I find that there's no inkling that my pre-order code was ever validated or accepted and, to make matters worse, I can't even post in the forums to let them know I've been having a problem.

For the past two days I've been talking to CS and they have images of my pre-order so I hope this gets resolved ASAP.  My worry is that this doesn't get resolved before the end of the week and I end up not getting any Early Access at all.

So there nothing to worry about? By the way? What Email? I never got an email when i redeem my pre order code or are you talking about the email they send for early access by waves?

I have only send them two email via their website form that is used to send email. Is there any email that i can send to? So are you in early access now?

After BW added my pre-order code to my account, I also received an e-mail to confirm the Pre-Order code had been added, so I am now in the early access queue. I'm not 'in-game' as yet, but haveing the code added in December, I'll likely be allowed access at some point on Friday.

As well as using the web form to contact customer services, I also just e-mailed them straight (support@swtor.com)....but to be honest I'm sure both go into the same queue to be looked at by a CSR.

I am having the same issue.  I even received an e-mail stating it was fixed.  Log on swtor and nothing is fixed.  I spent over 2hrs on hold with their supposed customer service and still nothing.
