Hello,
After seeing some video footage and reading comments on this forum and decided to give SWTOR a try! I was wondering, if I pruchase the game (standard edition) from Origin as a download, while I have access to the game right away? Thanks!

Pre-ordered 4 hours ago and got my "The wait is over" early access mail one hour ago
Still downloading the client though, so the wait isn't exactly over lol.
But yeah, the whole staging thing is pretty much over it seems and you can expect to be let into early access pretty much right away. (Unless I was simply very lucky with catching a rogue wave).

After reading your thread, I checked the fine print again and now it states the pre-order offer expries on December 31, 2011 which is passed the actual release date. But I want to be sure I can access now or I would rather wait until release day. Can anyone confirm if they got early access?
preordered at 5:47pm. Got early access at 6:10pm. Pretty damn fast. Downloading at 5.75MB/s.

YES everyone is being granted early access RIGHT NOW. if you go to origin and pre order and go through the steps to register game and such you will get in within minutes
