So, the game technically hasn't even.....

been released yet. But I'm number nearly 600 waiting in line to get to play for a bit.

Makes me wonder what the 20th will be like (and the weekend that follows)? Anyone care to guess the average Q time on the weekend after release? While I aware this post will attract haters, let's keep the discussion on topic. I'm not interested in your opinion on if the game sucks or not and neither is anyone else.

And if anyone cares, I'm having a ton of fun on my BH. =oD I have never had so much fun in PVP as when I knocked a guy down with a rocket and unloaded 5k laser bolts to his face as I'm standing over them. lol. I loved it.

After they open up 40 new servers to handle the new people joining on the 20th I expect the queues to be about the same.

Bioware is throttling servers pre-launch, in order to spread out the population and ensure a more consistent number of people per server. When the game launches, those throttles will be released and you should see almost all of the queues (except the very most popular servers) removed.

Most people playing on the 20th or the week after are likely pre order people.  I dont think it will be that much different.

Oh? I wasn't aware of this. Is this fact? Not doubting you (well I am kinda but that would be smart by Bioware) but this is the internet after all. About the 40 servers I mean.

I think the majority of die hard fans or people who knew they were going to buy the game already did.  With early access I don't think there will be that much of a flood.  If anything I would expect the early players will subside somewhat for sleep and food allowing others on :)

The worst part is that the threads that are queued are probably going to ONLY get MORE people.  Nothing more frustrating than starting a character at launch.. get a good way in.. and find that your server is inhospitable for your gaming needs.

Personally, the should lock up ANY server that has a queue of 30 minutes.  No new people.  Either that or they need to increase their max capacity.

Rub it in! All of my friends will only play Republic and I am not liking it one bit.

I know it's just such a terribly unpopular game as many of the trolls out there would try and make people believe. The game is really solid and has an amazing following so far with a fairly decent fan base besides the ones who won't get over not being a sandbox (besides the fact that sandbox for the most part has proven as an MMO as a failed experiment in its current conception).

Meh, you really need to learn to leave less openings for trolls, I can see 5 points in your post that could easily become trolling material

Speaking about trolling in your position would be like QQ'ing about being shot in battlefield while standing in a open field with a sniper on the other side.
