Looking for a game with decent pvp and player base

I have tried many games but just can't stick to one. I played WoW for almost 3 years then really started to hate it!! Now I am so picky about games, I played AOC for a while but took a break then logged back on about 5 month later to find server was dead.

I want a game with big world pvp not really inro instranced pvping because most of the time you do more waiting for the match than the match lasts.

Graphics is some what important to me but playerbase is most important.

I just need a game to hold me over until either Archeage, GW2 or BaS come out.

    Hey man you could try DC Universe Online. I know its a little bit diffrent, but it has a rly good open world and arena(more like battlegrounds) pvp. I'm having a blast with it.

    If you like WoW and look for something more PVP oriented, I'd suggest you try Allods.

     

    If you can wait, wait until Firefall comes out for a PVP-centered MMO.

    I think I'm going to try DC Universe it actaully looks fun and interesting. Ive tried allods and most of the other free to play wow like games and although the payerbase was high for some of them I just didn't like them.

     

    Keep the suggestions though since I am going to try a few other ones too!!

    Shaiya was very pvp open/oriented when it came out but i guess everyone hate that game. (never played it but...some hardcore pvp'er on that game)

    Pirates of the burning sea has some of the best pvp out there. Its free to play you don't ever have to buy anything you just have to level up. Pvp isn't automatically a win it takes some skill and there is a sense of loss when you lose in a fight. Give it a try its free.

    Ya could try Lineage 2 which recently went F2P. (lineage2.com for the US version, lineage2.eu for the european version).

     

    I gave the EU one a go, seems alright.
