is bioware making jokes or something? its 1230pm on a tuesday (one of my days off) and there is a 300 person queue on Lord Praven, and worse on many other west coast servers.
yes it is launch day, but seriously come on. the vast majority of players do not take time off work to play an MMO when it launches. i cant even imagine what it is going to be like tonight when the masses get on.... this wouldnt be such a problem if i wasnt already lvl 27 on my char, i would just move to a different server.
UGH.... either BW needs to get real and increase capacity on these servers or they need to offer character transfers right now, which i find a bit ridiculous. can they only hold 1K people or something? its absurd.

Welcome to launch day of one of the most hyped games in years?
Ill take queues over bad server stability any day. Even WoW servers have queues, just something you deal with.
My Guild Wars 2 Vids
1. It's launch day
2. School's out and those who do work may, just may, have taken this week off...you think?

working people with families and responsibilities dont take time off work to play a game. seriously get off it. what i just described makes up half or more of MMO gamers these days.
Well I'm working people and I have this benefit called "vacations." You might have heard of it.

The above posts are very correct, and I hate to break this to you but many of my friends who all work and have families have in fact taken days off of work to play. i have been playing for about a week, the Server stability is very good, not one drop. Game runs very smooth. I will wait my half hour to an hour to get in for that.
Cheers,
It's gonna happen with any good mmorpg, now this is why I get curious though because people say it's the best launch as a fact yet some people have issues which in that case it'd be just an opinion .
But yea it happens, it should die down someday.
I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.
I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.
P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
this is where the bug or issue start to sshow up at pre lauch nothing ever happen but day like today will be a huge test of stability for the next 24 to 48 hours!if it goes smooth here should be smooth all the way
This is what you get for joining a server after the name of a sith lord!

yeah and i think it is pretty pathetic to take time off to play a game instead of taking a real vacation with your family.... you know, to places.... as a family.... you might have heard of THAT?
pretty sure im not in the minority there either. thanks.
I'm sort of losing track but let's see if I have it straight.
You're complaining about a Q on a tuesday at 12:30 PM because you're off work and want to play. You figure since it's your day off you should have dibs because everyone else should either be in school or at work or spending time with our families.... none of which you are doing yourself since you're trying to play...
Did I miss something other than your exagerated sense of uniqueness, correctness and entitlement?

LOL.... time for real life to kick in. I get more vacation time than I can afford to use. So a week or 2 a year is generally spent bumming around the house and 2 weeks on an actual go out and do something vacation. And after all that STILL have a day or 2 extra a year to play with. Only reason I didn't take this week off to play is that I don't believe in taking X-mas off because I feel like it puts excess burdens on the people I work with. Everyone should be able to relax going into Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Yule.
