EverQuest II has released another update to their servers, #12. Here are the headlines, with a link to the full notes below.

- Change your bind point to anywhere in your home city!
- Invite other players into groups, raids, and guilds when they aren't in the same zone!
- Quest journal now holds 75 active quests!
- Sort your quests by the current zone for each quest step!
- Explore the Shattered Lands with greater freedom and ease of travel!
- Earn experience for your guild by collecting status loot!
- Learning tradeskills is made even easier with new artisan quests!
- Gain coin and better loot from defeating creatures!
- Guilds no longer lose status when members leave!
- Add a new hotkey to toggle between your two most recent targets!
- Lots of user interface tweaks and improvements!
- The quest completion ding is back!
- Mysterious activities around the mines of Norrath introduce our latest live event!

I may disagree with SoE on many topics, but I cant argue that they are working pretty hard. Preventing guilds from losing XP when they lose members is something I find extremely casual and unrepresentative. If a guild lose 90% members and recruits noobs, it still have it status...while it should be starting from FAR, very FAR! It just remove any sense of accomplishment and add a meaningless grind for new guilds that start from nothing. Now the social leeches piss the deserving folks and recolt their hardwork...Zzzz should just remove those guilds levels, they serve no purpose if they dont represent your current guild roaster.

Anybody notice SOE is kind've just playing guess and check? It would be better if u only lost guild status for higher ranked players to leave. And OMG!!!! U can now recall anwhere within 3 feet of the place you would've recalled anyways !! ... nice try sony. Still cant get as much exclamations as you guys though
