I would say around 500-800 players at peak hours per server for both games. That mmog chart website isn't even close to accurate for Turbine games.
I agree they may not be accurate. "not even close" on the other thand, I disagree with.
Let me take EVE as an example only because there's a lovely little tool that shows exact populations on the one server and it's easier to tally populations on one server. I am by no means saying EVE is directly comparable to AC1 or AC2 but I have to believe it can give a rough comparison.
EVE reaches a low of 5,000 people online and a peak around 11,000. Consider 10% of those people are trial accounts and the game has 58,000 subscribers. Subtracting the trial members, the subscribers total 4,500 and 10,000 at peak times. That equals 7.7% of all subscribers online at low times and 17.2% at peak.
According to MMOGChart.com AC2 has 15,000 subscribers. According to you, which is based on guesses also AC2 has between 500-800 people on at peak times on each server. Total the servers up (2 main ones really but with Europe we'll say 2.5) that leaves between 1250 and 2000 people at peak times. A small number of those being trials too but ignore them. That makes 8.3% to 13.3% of all subscribers on at peak times.
This means if there are actually MORE AC2 subscribers than indicated by MMOGChart.com then the percentage of subscribers online at time will only go down. It is already lower than EVE online but that is expected. EVE is new and fresh to people, I expect players to be logging in more often. How much lower is debatable but I think your numbers combined with MMOGCharts' seem reasonable.

Damn straight MMOGChart.com is not even close, Lineage 2 is one of the worst games out there and there is no way it is doing better then WoW they must be doing there charts say like in... hmmm korea?

Anyone know how AC2 Darktide server population is? i played ac2 for a couple of years..but i been away for a while... was thinking of hitting the trial and checking things out -- if all goes well i may drop WoW and come back to Dereth until heros journey, or dark and light comes out

Idiot fanboy, the fact that lineage is the biggest mmorpg when it comes to subscribers is a commonly known fact. These figures are open to ANYONE that wants them, go do some research you muppets.

The U.S or Europe ammount to less than half of the mmorpg subscribers worldwide, mmorpgchart takes into account the total ammount of subscribers, Lineage 1 and 2 are the most popular games in Asia, wich is th biggest mmorpg market, a total of 10% of south korea´s population plays mmrogp´s, many of wich play L1 and L2.
And for your information, South Korea and china are the biggest mmo markets in the world, far surpassin North america and europe, to dimiss those markets just because you dont like L2 just goes to show how little you understand.
