Will this be like project entropia. I mean do you have to pay a lot in order to have fun and do stuff? Will weapons, armors need expensive repairs everytime you use them?
You won't have to pay at all and if you do pay you won't need to pay more than a normal subscription fee to live comfortably. If you are a crafter you can repair your own stuff and since you can have many skills.
Going on something I heard in another thread around here, PE made the repairing cost so much because they also let you transfer game money to rl money. In doing so, more money was leaving the game, and they needed a way to bring more money into the game.
Roma Victor, on the other hand, won't have transfer from game money to real life money--only the purchasing of game money with real life money.

PE isn't expensive if you know how to manage your money. Some people deposit 100s of dollars a month because they are addicts and think that the more they deposit, the more they will get back.
Well, RV is a totally different style of MMORPG than PE, and that can be a good thing or bad thing depending on who you talk to .
And of course depending on the decisions you make. The nightmare scenarios presented in some of these threads rely heavily on an assumption that every player wants to keep up with every other player and will do everything they can and spend everything they can to achieve it. This is of course naieve at best...

When I was playing PE I played WAY TOO MUCH and so it cost me alot more. From the impression I'm getting people will be perfectly capable of playing RV for free without having to religiously camp something equivalent to PEs oil field .

The only thing they have in common is that you can buy currency.
