When I say "flubbing it up" I'm refering to the handling of the servers, which, even the most die hard fan will have to admit has been done better with other games.

Oh yeah I'm not saying they don't know how to make a buck, opening it up to all the markets like that was genius (yet if SOE did that, how much you wanna bet they'd be labled "Money Hungry Corporate monsters? But I digress).

The point of this whole thread (at least the way I see it): The game has already been designed This has always been SOE's weak area (or shall we say Blizzard is stronger in this area). I think anyone could admit that overall Blizzard makes better games than SOE. BUT when it comes to managing an MMO SOE has the experience and the resources to do it right. Blizzard isn't doing so well in this department. With that in mind, I think if Blizzard turned WoW over to SOE, the game would become better.

I mean consider the major problems with WoW right now: No server stabiity, and lack of content added (or shall we say less content than EQ2 and I'm talking about purely free content). SOE has been shining with these two things.

Must be very high pop servers then. Cause Ive played on 2 different servers and not had any problems what so ever. But both are not high pop servers.

    Bama,

WoW has a lot of problems with their log in servers too. This means no matter what server you're on you can't log on. You may be getting lucky and hitting it before it goes down (once you're logged on those servers can blow up and it won't effect you), but regardless I think we can all admit SOE's servers are much more stable...Even SWG's servers are more stable (now) than WoW's.

Even setting the servers aside, the amount of free (free meaning not on top of your 15USD a month) content added to EQ2 compared to WoW is astronomical.

If Blizzard would make games for SOE or SOE would manage Blizzard's games, that would be one truely awesome MMO.
