World War 2 Online - The best

Players who have yet to try this game or left in the early days. Its is so differant now than it was back then. From the new equipment to the Visual damage models to the HC commands this game is as fun and exciting as it ever was.

Come back and join us many familiar faces from day one are still around and we would love to have you back to try it on for size. No game compares.

Planetside claims to have the most ever in an online enviroment. They very obviously are not clued in to what a persistant game world is. WW2online by far has beaten them at this claim.
Its time for the Gaming community to give credit where credit is due.

If you are willing to put some time into learning the systems, it is well worth it.

    Shilling is right

Ive tried so many online games and my backround is role playing games like ultima online and everquest horizens it actually surprised me that I would like a game like wwiionline

I was not a first person shooter fan at all I saw the box in the store it looked and sounded interesting so I tried it .........it was a rocky start for an online game but they fixed and tweeked it to what it is today. Very impressive team Cornered rat they pulled themselfs up outta the ashes and have one of the most addictive online games ever made

(it even made me try fps like day of defeat, allied assualt americas army hoping for the same kind of experiance but nothing can top wwiionline play it for a month and youll see what im talking about)

Ive been playing 2+ years now and I allways find myself anxious to get off work so I can kill some enemy

You would be shocked at how good killing someone feels when ya line up your shot and squeeze that trigger and you see him go down further than a foot ball field away. If I want to go shock troop I can and assualt a enemy bunker with hell in my eyes and go down in a blaze of glory

Thats just the infantry experiance there is just too much to see and do in wwiionline to ever get bored

I used to spend about 50 dollars a month searching for that perfect game ive saved so much money because of this game I have no reason to search much anymore

I'm and old WWII online player, Played for a long time till I couldn't connect to their servers. Problem with this game, is its very hard to find a good group of people. I used to play with EZ company. I had a hell of alot of fun. It was great. But they no longer play for the most part and finding a squad that equaled them wasn't possible last time I came back to give it a try.

Hands down beats planetside with many factors, but at least in planetside I can solo effectively hard to do in wwii onlien.

There are a number of very good squads on both sides. Should you decide to give the game a try again, PM me. I'll put you in touch with a squad on the side of your choice.  ;)

This game blows dont waste your money!!!  unplayable framerates, very high latency, hostile moderators, no ability to Lonewolf, game sucks ...I played the game for 4 years, they changed it, now it blows... LOL CRS cheerleaders are here.  Dont waste your money wait for a free trail then decide dont get locked into a subscription in a game that is unplayable for you....shilling, pruitt, zero CRS moderators here to delete post, truth can be told here.

Since I am retired and have nothing better to do I will assist in putting out the word about just how unplayable this game really is....on every PC game review site I can find....

Hate to say it, but you sound more like a loser then anything.

    Anyhoo.

Good post, Shilling. WWIIOL is definitely a good game. It has its bad points, and it's far from perfect, but if you're into realistic games and FPSs, give it a try.

hmm...your opinion does not change the fact that the game in question blows...

Wow, you dug up a thread that had died over two months ago. Im impressed, but not in a good way.

It's such a great game that Shilling, the original poster in this thread, an ex-Axis CinC and ex-Rat, has only bothered to play 1 sortie this campaign.

    1 sortie.

Even pruitt, as much a fanboi for WW2OL as anyone who has ever trod this board, has only 5 sorties for the campaign.

That, perhaps more than anything else, tells you just how far this game has sunk over the past month or so.

  • MuhlerMuhler Member Posts: 59

And I dont have that many sorties either. Im a wee bit busy though. Crap happens...

Yeah muhler, I know how that can be.

BTW, is 18 Armee still operational? I thought they'd been assimilated into 6 Armee?

In the new OrBat which was launched in September last year have only room for two Armys; 6. and 12. Armee.

The new OrBat is made from a templet made by CRS. Both sides have the exact same organization (levels and numner of units on each level) now due to the Brigade Spawn feature.

    Yes I am.::::20::

Good to hear you joined the dark forces. If you are interested to join one of WWII Online finest squads shall you check out Kampfgruppe Wiking. We are some 100 members, mainly from Sweden and Denmark, but we also have members from Norway, Finland, Island, UK, Germany, Holland, Slovenia, USA just to meantion some countries.

We have Squad Nights on every Sunday (20:00-) and Wednesday (20:30-) and our numbers is always between 30-60 members online during Squad Nights (infantry, panzer, artillery and airforce). To stay a member demands that you attend Squad Nights regularly (you can be away for up to 4 months if you ask for an extended leave), so our list of +100 members holds few ghost names.

KG Wiking is attached to 3. Panzer Division, 1 Kampfgruppe (or any other KG in 3.PzDiv if 1KG isn't active).

KGW is one of the oldest squads in WWIIOL (we only play WWII Online) celibrating its five years anniversary this weekend.::::31::
