Right at the bottom there it says it;
"In light of recent speculations about the open beta date and business model for The Secret World, Funcom would like to make some clarifications.
The Secret World is currently in closed beta testing and have been so for several months. Participants in the closed beta range from Funcom quality assurance personnel to external testers who have been selected from our pool of over 500,000 beta registrations.
Open beta will not be initiated before Christmas, but will be a part of our strategy next year prior to our April 2012 launch.

Uhh how is this trolling? They clearly made a mistake/omission and it needs to be corrected plain and simple.

I wanna have TSW listed on the Upcomming MMOs on the Home Page :-)
I emailed them for them to change it and add the game to the list of the soon to be released on the main page.
Considering MMORPG.COM has been covering a fair bit of the game, Surprised it isnt already there.

not sure why you would want a Funcom title at launch tbh
Because it's simply too stupid too assume that mistakes will be repeated.
Because in the end i believe they will put a good product and that this game is worth it.
Because it is MY money and i can do whatever i want with it?
Because frankly i could put reasons here all day and they will be valid to me...
If you're going to buy the game either at launch or after, why not get it at launch? If it's bad then, just resub later. If not, you're playing and having fun, while anti-funcom people are waiting around for whatever.

I'm waiting on TOR, and I have reason not to play at all... No Rift or WoW for me

This... agreed.... Let those who pre-pay do the extended beta and then join when it is fun to play and the bugs are mostly gone.
Currently bored with MMO's.
That way the whiners wont be there at launch and we can enjoy the game more......
