I know, I know. Xfire isn't the most reliable source, we all know it, but goddamn, this is a pretty steep curve: http://www.xfire.com/games/swtor/Star_Wars_The_Old_Republic/

What are you seeing? It is currently #5, down from #4.

I disagree, I think there should be a daily xfire thread for every new day, bahaha.
Thing is since about a month ago after an update XFire continues to track games after you exit them, at least mine does. You have to exit out and restart it to turn off tracking.

No this thread is right, when I log in, I am literally the only person on my server. This game has failed completely.
Still around 10.500 Players and still more minutes per player than any other mmo.
Speak about when its 5.000 players and 600.000 minutes...it would need to shrink ten times from the Numbers of today to get in danger to lose the second place in the mmo rating!

why do people use Xfire anyway ? I never knew.. ( a bit off topic i know )
Even if we accept xfire as a valid sample (which it isn't) that still doesn't mean people are quitting. It only means people are playing less, which should be expected after the initial launch during a holiday.
What if SWTOR's population is largely made up of casual players that only play an hour or two a day? Not only are those people less likely to use xfire, but it doesn't mean that they have unsubbed either.
I think that saying "ouch" is a mistake. This game has one of the largest amounts of concurrent players in any mmo. These numbers also says nothing about the financial success of the game or subscriber numbers.

I really don't see anything of note here...
The 30 day play time w/ purchase is closing to an end so it's only naturally you'll see a dip in subs or hours played or whatever have you.
