Ages of Athiria for me. Some people have been knocking it, but they got a new graphics engine so the old screenshots will fail in comparison to the graphics coming out. They are almost to inner alpha testing (I think) so they can use that as a working demo to show prospective investors. Check it out.
http://my.agesofathiria.com and check out the FAQ, it is really interesting game design. I think it will completely immerse, and give what we have all been looking for.

For me, Hero's Journey. Of the announced features, it has a lot of what I look for in games. There's always a risk of unfulfilled potential in MMOs, especially this early in production, but I find myself a little more hopeful with this title than I usually am. The GM system definitely is something new to graphical MMOs, and Simutronics has a track record of frequently blazing their own trails rather than succumbing to the industry standards. Time will be the true judge, but it's certainly high on my list of anticipated games right now.
Since most of them don't have PVP or good PVP then none now :
My only hope is Warhammer online

I miss DAoC
Well I never hold much with what Devs say they're going to put into a game but the feature list I'm most impressed with, if it's delivered on, is Irith. Then possibly D&L in second. However I'm fairly burned out on the Fantasy Genre so will most likely not bother with either title since I'm happy with Star Wars Galaxies & PlanetSide and can play EQ2 whenever I need a swords & sorcery fix without paying another monthly fee (SOE All Access Pass).
But the feature list I'm most interested in is definitely Irith. It looks like it will be the closest thing ever to what UO was. Which has a lot of appeal for me even though I'm kind of tired of Fantasy.
IF they pull off all the things they list Irith could very well be the next big thing in MMORPG Land.

Still in: A couple Betas
Fallen Earth - It may not be breaking the mould, but since I've lost all hope in the Neocron devs ever getting their act together, maybe Fallen Earth can learn from some of their mistakes and do it right. The signs so far (no release dates, no beta dates, concentrating on making the game rather than hyping it) are good.
No more fracking fantasy PLEASE!

So you want to make your own MMORPG? Here's some advice

Pirates of the Burning Sea
I pay no attention to upcoming MMOGs until they are in public beta. They are all vaporware to me until I can touch them.
Altough i have some doubts about D&DO, i think it will be a good game, at least worthy of buying it and giving it a try, but the one that has caught my eye is Vanguard, it looks to be shaping up nicely and has a large publisher behind it (microsoft) as well as a very talented development team.
All ur Mountain Dew is belong to me.
Dark n' Light.

For me it is Trials of Ascension.
Full loot drop, open pvp, permadeath, terrain that makes a differance in movement and tactics, weather that has effect on your character, 18 playable races including dragons (done right, the hardest to get strong but once strong they are as dragons are portrayed in fiction... massive) and many other features that I cant list here.
While it is still a few years out from beta, it is one of the few (the only actually) that actually seems to not only have the features that I want but the devs dont seem to be giving any ground when it comes to them and they constantly interact with the community. All good signs for me.
ToA
Everything else just seems like the same old same old.
I hope that changes though.
DDO.
I may end up crying. But so far, from what I read, I think it will be awesome! Not perfect, many flaws, not really D&D. But still awesome.
I cant wait to try it.

DDO & LOTRO. No PVP "l33t d00ds" = Great.
Go play CS for PVP it's the best way to get your killing fix...in fact I think i'll get my fix in now. Aztec for the win.
Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.
DnL !!!

^^ Edited tat into my first post.
There can be no real/full roleplay without PvP. So if they actually call the game an MMORPG and it doesnt have PvP... well they are lying AoA has PvP with a justice system and everything. Its rad check it out.
Looking forward to Pirates of the Burning Sea and Fallen Earth. I'm pretty much bored with everything out there ATM. I'd really like to see a return to games where it takes the average player a year to top out rather than 2 months.
Remember when you hit 50 in DAoC or 65 in EQ? It was a major accomplishment. The current crop of MMOs are chock full of characters who are at max level with only a month or two of casual play under their belts.
I never thought I'd say this, but boy do I miss EQ (pre-Luclin, btw)

Im all about the pvp --so the only thing that has looked interesting to me is
DarkFall Online. At the moment its nearly vaporware but it looks to be very promising.
Also-- Warhammer--
They did pvp right with DAOC-cant wait to see what they do with warhammer.
Well I don't know how much "promise" this game has, but I always thought they should make FALLOUT into an MMORPG. That game was awesome, and could be made even better into an mmorpg.
FALLEN EARTH seems to sort of have a similar feel to it, and I think if the developers keeps their heads on straight they have the potential to make a really great game that stands out from the crowd.
Another game I look forward to playing, made more for children is .... *sigh* yes I know you all will laugh now.... "Hello Kitty World". I play so many games. I just love a little diversity now and then, and this game is SO CUTE. Plus, I think it's important to have a game that kids can safely play without having to worry as much about adults being vulgar and innapropriate around them. I would buy this game for my kids if I had kids. It's good to have games for all ages, children as well as adults.
Thanks!

3) Warhammer
