Come on, man. It'd be a kickass idea. There has been talk about a Half Life MMORPG before, so why not? An MMORPG is already coming out using steam, who knows? Why not? I think it'd be a cool idea.
Anyone who's just going to say "No fucking way" or, "No.", or "HELL YES!". I want to hear some actual opinions, not blank yeses and no's.

Besides, I really like my Half Life experience "as-is".
I would just call it another Science-fiction mmorpg..

I have to agree with you there, Ianubsi. There are some things that just need to remain apples and others oranges. Otherwise we'll end up with Doom Online and Unreal Online. I think games like this would be based on nothing more than the franchise rather than having any originallity and depth. To me it would probably end up feeling like nothing more than a Total Conversion for an existing MMO.
Besides, when there are great universes out there like Battletech, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, and Traveller that are being unused I would hate to see something so cheesy as an MMO version of Half Life pop onto the scene.

Being a network engineer you feel that way about anything Microsoft puts out."
It would just be another planetside, and not be good. I love Half-Life, I play DoD ALL THE TIME but it wouldnt work.
