Defiance: Casting Begins for Tie-In TV Show

Syfy has announced that it has begun casting for the television show that will tie in (and vice versa!) with the Trion Worlds' MMO, Defiance. According to Deadline.com, the first cast member to be announced is Grant Bowler. Bowler may be remembered as a cast member in both Ugly Betty and True Blood.

Set on a future Earth, Defiance introduces players and viewers to a world where humans and aliens live together on a planet ravished by decades of war and transformed by alien terra-forming machines. It centers on Jeb Nolan (Bowler), the law keeper in a bustling frontier boomtown that is one of the new world’s few oasis of civility and inclusion. Nolan is a former Marine who fought in the alien conflict and suffered the loss of his wife and child in the war.

    That dudes eyes are set too close together... it's kinda creepy. It looks like he's constantly struggling to understand something, or he's constipated.

    Yeah... if it's FPS and on console, I won't even bother with it. 

    ...

    Otherwise, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the game & show both work out.

    I love the idea behide this mmorpg that is tired in with a show. Everything that happens in the show happens in the game.

     

    It just seems to like that it is going to be really hard to keep the game updated on every single episode

    It's a multiplatform shooter MMO. XBox 360, PS3 and PC.

    I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
