Aion: Gameforge Calling for EU Closed Beta Testers

As the F2P iteration of Aion readies for its EU arrival, Gameforge is putting out the call for players to participate in the closed beta. Those who take part in the closed beta will be rewarded with 'Veteran' status when the F2P version launches in February and will also be gifted several nifty in-game items.

    Cool, I didn't even know that it was going FTP. Anyways looking forward to playing this.

    This is a good game and was continiously being updated to keep it fresh(even though if its more or less a grindfest). Hopefully F2P will be a huge succes:)

    Breaks my heart to see a game fall so much that it needs to become f2p to attract population. They have taken away too many fun aspects of the game over the years :(

    Absolutely loved that game and now another disappointment like some others, thanks to some decision makers.

    Non the less a very fun game to a certain point. Hope many will enjoy it like I did.

    Looks like till gw2 comes I will return - I'm pleasently surprised that there is not that big difference between gold pack and veteran.

    yeah, I thought that... seems just playing as a vet will be fine for the casual player.

    agree, for people that play the game casual this is great, and the cash shop method seems fair
