I guess people are not happy lol. I noticed that SWTOR is no longer in the top 10 games listed on the front page.
I canceled and won't be back and frankly I was just amazed that they dropped the ball so hard on this game.

Front page means nothing, mmorpg.com doesn''t represent the popularity of any mmo at all.
Ok it doesn't really mean anything but at the same time, wow, I mean enough people had to full RAGErate the game down to 0 for it to go from #1 to not even on the list... that's kinda crazy...
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
This site is highly respected and stays updated on all matters of MMORPGs. Just look at the right side for the upcoming releases...

For a super hype new release, this is really bad, even WAR have a better reaction. The only game that can compare to it is Light and Darkness. Might have to scrap my plan to try it out in a month or 2. User score of 6 on metacritic and not even in top 10 list after a month in mmorpg.com. I wasn't expecting much from this game but currently it seems like it's headed for the biggest flop in mmo history.
Welcome to mmorpg.com it has nothing to do with people not being happy. It has to do with trolls and no game staying high once released.
Fun fact: Initial ratings tend to be quickly over-rated and far from actual placement. Its just falling into its natural place. Don't expect a rating to reflect the game for some time though.
Thou i'm not a big fans of RIFT but i still haven't seen it fall from top spot after a month of release. Rift only loses it's no 1 spot after ToR came out but then as of now it's firmly back at no 1.
You realize there are two tabs, right? One for Top Voted in development, one for released. It's not in the Released tab.

I'd assumed he meant the "released" list, which its not on, either. On that list, its up against every MMO ever, though... yet somehow Rift is at the top, followed by LOTRO, then Guild Wars, Fallen Earth, and Atlantica Online. Pretty odd list, really.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
Vanguards on the list, Eve isn't.... Very accurate list.

I havent played the game yet, I never play an MMO on release. But this behaviour is pretty much par for the course. If anyone honestly takes these nut jobs on the forums as any sort of indication that the game is bad, then I feel really sorry for them. I dont however feel sorry for the nut jobs, they've most likely done something really horrible to deserve such a socially unacceptable and hopeless lot in life.
Who honestly wastes this much time and energy on something they hate? Besides "atheists" of course.
This should be an MMO! But it has to be created by indie company so at least it has a chance.
Well they are biased but it's been my experience that this site is very friendly towards Themeparks, including the people who post here. So it's not the best example to use for this site anyway.
Yup Rift is a pure sandbox game as it's sitting at no 1 in released game ranking.
