Awesome! The 1 month anniversary is here!!! What's your opinion of SWTOR after the first month? Anybody new to SWTOR here thinking about joining now?

Unsubbed yesterday, i expected a WOW clone with great questing.
What i got was a WOW clone with great questing, mediocre graphics, PVP, crafting, combat & UI
"Esport with tournaments is for hardcore pvp'rs that want to be competitive. Openworld PVP with ganking and griefing is for casuals that just wants their pvp mixed with pve from time to time."

lol 1 month anniversary
well i havent unsubbed yet. probably because i got the game good 10 days late, but im more than likely not going to resub. Ill give it some time to add content and stuff and try it again in a couple of months. unless i find something more interesting in that time of course :P
Made it to level 46 and could not stand it any more. The voice acting gets old fairly quickly. The game has very little innovation and still uses the same old 'kill 10 of mob X' formula. End game is PVP and raid. Nothing to keep me interested for very long. Unsubbed earlier today. Will try it again in about 6 months.
Why? Don't you realize that its going to be exactly the same in 6 months? Maybe a little more of everything you just described not liking.
Well they may 'fix' the ship thingy mini game which does get boring quite quickly (for me at least), maybe make it a bit more interesting, and somehow incorporate it into mmo aspect. They may also sort pvp out a bit, rework crafting as right now is totally useless, etc etc. Afterall the game is 1 month old, and its theif 1st mmo so there really might be some improvements.
Ofcourse, they could as well make it worse, or not bother reworking some features, but thats where we come into play. if there are enough interesting features added/tweaked we'll probably resub, if not, just move along
1 month in and I like the game a lot. I have a bunch of characters in there 20 and one lvl 50. I don't like that is is a lot like wow. But that is my only major complaint.
I like the story.
I like the voice overs because I am playing the story. In a normal text based MMOs I do not know what is going on in the game I just pick up a quest and do what it tells me and then hand it in then move on to the next one.
I like the PVP it could use some tweaking with the system. I find the classes to be very balanced. The people playing them to be very dumb for the most part, and complaining about there class when they do not even know how to play there class.
The graphic still are on Medium settings so I cant really say good or bad till the add the high settings. But for a Medium setting game it look way better then most games set to medium setting that I have played.
The community has been great so far people are not acting like dicks like most games "couph WoW"
Over all I would give the game a B+ so far.

I subbed for the next month and will cancel about this same time next month looking forward to the upcoming SP games, TSW, and TERA.
I like it so far and will play for now. The quests make you feel the part of a hero which is lacking in almost every other MMO. Love how you get to decide on what answers to give when turning in quests. Really makes my day when a group member goes"Dude, why did you answer that way" , just after you Jedisoned the engine room out to space lol.
I like the crafting works although it is rather hard to get all the stuff required to make the better equipment. I have level 33, 19 and 17 characters so don't know yet how the end game will hold me. I do know I will play fro quite a bit more bringing up different types of characters.
I am already out again, I might return when it goes F2P.
