Not a baracade of text but a friend of mine said that there is or was some security issues with Rift. I played it quite briefly and do not own a security key etc. Are these problems rectified as id like to have another go again?
Security is not any more of an issue than it is with other MMORPG's. They released a statement saying that they had a breach on a database a while back, but data as normal would be encrypted.
And you have the option of extra security if owning a Android or iphone.

Second this, you should always be using a 3rd step verification security code theres no reason not to. Rift rewards players who use it as well, can't hurt to receive an extra title
