New reason why the patches were bad.

I was skimming the forums and I found 2 posts by a new moderator giving the reason why previous patches were bad.

You guys also have to remember Henrik fired his last set of coders due to them not being well...good coders. In Sweden it takes time to fire people. Not like the US were if we don't like your style then out ya go. The TC patch and Nodeline Patch have been the best 2 patches so far. In most companys some things just come up and interrupt progress and I would like to blame those coders for messing up what could of been better and more releases then what we have now. __________________

Also, remember they fired all there bad coders. (in sweden it takes awhile to fire people) TC and the Node patch were very very good patches. No bugs that I know of. __________________

I thought the staff was let go for cost cutting reason. I saw a thread pop up a couple times asking for an official answer but it was quickly deleted every time.
My background is mostly business. But isn't this slander?? Can't the people let go do something about an SV official saying they were let go because they were bad at their job??

In the USA, yes it's slander. In Sweden? The simple answer is: "Most likely not".

Extremely poor behavior on the mods part, makes me sick. Blaming Henriks lack of leadership skills and sense of design direction on coders. Ugh. I duno what percet world that guy is living in, to claim TC was free of bugs. Sorry Zagar, but you are extremely delusional. Even bad coders can't mess a game up if they have a good lead. Which they didn't.
SV didn't hire any new programmers since they fired those "bad coders", but suddenly the code improved? That just means that whoever is left was just bad at overseeing the whole thing.

If everything that has been told to me goes as planned your list will be obsolete soon enough.
Funny how other GMs doesn't hesitate to jump in with more promises. Yeah, so all of the features they couldn't get right since release would suddenly find their way into the game.. yeah right. Those guys make me sick, they don't even care to think through what they are promising, just saying whatever users wanna hear on auto.
zagar has been a trial mod for like a week, I fail to see how his word has any more legitimacy than any normal user on the forum.
and Athanas makes no promises, he basically says "if what ive been told is true then..." therefore if those things do not come into fruition the devs are to blame for not being honest with their mods.
I wouldnt really have bothered making this thread if I were you. Pick out any random "knowledgeable" thread by a non-mod and you have exactly the same thing as the op.
Same. It's not like Henrick or that mod possess the ability to estimate the skill of a coder anyway. I wish one of the laid off people would come here and talk a bit about what SV looks like from the inside, that'd be funny.
I saw it coming anyway. When Henrick's shit-bubble bursts!!, he'll disappear in a huge hate tirade anyway, blaming absolutely everyone for his own failure. EVERYONE.
Zagar isnt a gm, he isnt a member of SV offically hes just a volunteer mod on the forums. But i do agree that if it was an offical representative of SV making this statement then it would be slander. I guess it is still slander but it would not be an issue with SV but with Zagar since SV would obviously deny any such statement.
Gerolt them bad mouthing SV would possibly leave themselves open for a lawsuit.

I agree he is not a gm and not paid by SV but a volunteer mod is an SV official. I have never heard they fired half the staff because they were bad coders. He is saying it like it is fact. Did someone above him tell him this??

Actually it is not pointless. Obviously his posts are not being moderated. They have not been deleted even tho it has been pointed out he said it. I would liek Theia to answe the question since he is good at hyping errr um I mean answering questions.
After blaming everything on Epic, on the community, on the hackers, on the Island Volcano, they now blame it on "bad coders" whom they can't fire...
What kind of lawsuit would that be? Nah.

I am pretty sure they are down to 2 coders and Henrik so they are in the same boat they were in before. Bad coders but less of them.
You know what gets you labeled as a bad employee to businessmen?
