why pay 2 win is good

K lets be honest and think about whats best for every1 and not just those of us who own @ games (like me).  FACT: MMO needs players to be success.  FACT: lots of players sux.  FACT: p2w helps sucky players (not me) do better.  FACT: If sucky players (not me) can do better, then u will have more players.  THEREFORE: p2w will make u mmo a success that everyone will love.

As u can see, this is only logical and facts that every1 should support p2w.  Cus it will help sucky players (not me, I'm good) compete with ppl (like me) who own at games even withotu p2w.

    You did actually touch on a valid point, there are a lot of people out there, the type who you will rarely see on this forum, who are willing to pay extortionate amounts of cash in order to get an advantage over other players.

    Your warped logic makes a kind of sense. If everyone on P2W buys the best gears, then it logically means that the player's actual Skill will determine the outcome of a fight, given that all the gear/abilities are balanced because everyone simply bought the best ones.

    However, I don't see alot of P2W games being either huge MMO successes or perfectly balanced as a result of P2W. Hmm...

    I don't care about p2w games ,they can exist , I don't mind.  Just not in MY game.

     

    Heck I could even agree to have it in my game, if there would be TOTALLY SEPARATE services / servers - one without cash shops and second with p2w shops.  No server transfers between two, separate services , forums and I am ok.

    sounds like a p2w game employee....

    now, if you support p2w mmos so much, care to pay the company enough money so we all get our overpowered cash shop gear for free? no? then dont put them on cash shop and let us get them in game through gameplay.

    Most of the time the games aren;t improved with this money. it goes into development of another p2w game or more cash shop items.

    And what happens if a good player also uses pay 2 win, and another good player does not?

    For me it is the same kind of rationale as in doping in sports. Sure it allows for less talented people to compete against the more talented one's, but what happens when a talented person starts to use doping? How will other talented people compete with him?

    Pay 2 Win is altogether bad in any kind of competetive activity.

    You forget where most money goes , especially if company have really high profits. 

    To investors, shareholders and CEO and other managment :)

     

    Company will invest ONLY that amount of money that it will be ABSOLUTELY necessary.  No amount of profit after exceding some level will bring more content and improvements to a game.

     

    WoW was / is earning like 50 x or more times money than other AAA mmropg's. Does that mean it has 50 x or even 10 x more content?

    After 7 years still no housing (even though It was almsot begged since beta , and cosmetic system after 7 years from release ,etc )

    Pay to win is cheating. I play mmorpg to do things myself and to earn everything myself cause that gives me satisfaction and I actually feel like I achive something be my playing casual or hardcore it dont really matters. Recently I tried mods in skyrim and got level cap on everything and all the best weapons in game and guess what skyrim felt like a stupid game to me after that and started fresh from scratch without mods again. Why you play mmorpg? If you have everything by paying there is no purpose to play, unless you play only to show off to other people. This kind of thinking like the OP is why mmorpg have really bad community now days.

    {mod edit} Either way people like you shouldn't like p2w because it just makes it pretty damn hard to win. Whether you are sucky or not, you would still need to pay to win, if it is actually a p2w game. right?

    , but I really have no money IRL (married) and I'm a below average player (My reflexes are so bad I don't use my hands when I fall on the floor) so that puts me in this situation:

    Epic player + P2W = Ultra Epic

    Bad player + P2W = Epic

    Epic player + no P2W = Epic

    Bad player + no P2W = crap <------- Me

    I am doomed :P

    they culd make it so skilled players (like me) can't p2w but only sucky  plyrs (like u) can p2w, and mabye the more sucky u r the less u have to p2w.  there r ways to make it work so that ever1 gets wat they want
