Taken at the Tornstones or Talath Gaun in the Lonelands. An Earth-Kin and a hobbit watching the moon set together. I just like how little she looks compared to the Earth-Kin.
This screenshot is not best possible quality but it's one of the most important ones for me so that's why I picked it up. It has been taken during last seconds european players still were playing in Codemaster's servers, just before servers went offline and all european players moved to Turbine's servers. We had very emotional goodbye party and there was community manages Faya there in Snowbourn server spending last moments with us and saying goodbye to everyone. One of the Lotro moments I will never forget.

Forochel, in the far north of Eriador, boasts spectacular landscapes and vistas, especially at night, when the 'sky-lights' dance. In this image of the moonrise over Suri-kyla, the largest town, I tried to capture the frozen beauty of the region. The glow of fires inside each family's koti makes their reflections bob like lanterns on the frigid channels that the inhabitants keep free of ice. The green ribbons of the aurora also shimmer across the star-strewn sky.
I had a terribly hard time picking an image to post, but this is certainly one of my favorites. LOTRO's graphics are great, but even more than the technical beauty, its artists have done a wonderful job creating a world that feels solidly grounded in reality, yet has that touch of extra splendour that makes it Middle-earth.

That's a brilliant picture.
