What are 50 lvl players doing right now? Any open world pvp?

Essentially that is my question. What after lvl 50? I saw a preview at a video about the legacy update and essentially they will give chars several things if they lvl up alts. Well i don't like that, it's like just giving a carrot for players to keep subscribing but not really anything new. Is there any world pvp?

After the first death or 2 open world pvp becomes a joke. Either side grabs more people and/or leaves the area. Which is why sandbox elements need to stay out of games.
It allows the teenagers and other people to hide in their turtle shells.

Alright, but still, what do people do after 50? Aside from raids and que for the 3 bgs.
has nothing to do with sandbox anything its faction imbalance open world pvp doesn't work with two factions if one is greatly more populated than the other

I'm level 44 so can't address the level 50 aspect yet. But I was on Hoth and I guess they have open world battleground areas because I was doing a quest and all of a sudden it says I entered a pvp area and starts ginving me a countdown. I was like...damn I'm not really ready to pvp right now...just working on this quest.
Then along comes this guy on a speeder. He hops off and wips out a red light saber. I'm like.....aaaah great. I wip out my saber and I stand there with my companion, thinking, ok, lets do this. But he just stood there staring at me. So I stare back. We're standing there staring at each other, so I was like, ok.....I'm gonna be a light side jedi and put my saber away as you can't judge all sith by the red saber alone. And then he put his saber away.
So there we are standing there staring at each other, a respectable distance between us. Then we both decide to go about our business, me with one eye on him and probably him with one eye on me. It was kinda funny, but anxiety producing. I kept expecting him to get all Darth Maul on my ass, but he gave me a wide berth and I did the same for him.
Last night I was in one of two Rep raid groups in Ilum that eventually got stomped by 3+ Imp raids (but we got our kill counts in before that happened). There are FPS issues when that many people are on the screen, btw...
Level 50s do raids, hard-mode instances, war zones and dailies (in the world pvp zones). Some of us also go for things like datacrons and world bosses. And we roll alts in the FOTM classes and to see more of the class stories.
Farming enough valor to get BattleMaster gear does require you to participate in several hundred WZs so that takes awhile too (unless you exploit the world pvp). And after that it will take you many dailies to get a full set of the gear.
There's a lot to keep you busy and even if you have lots of free time it will take you weeks to do the dailies to max out your character after you hit 50.
if you looking for a differn't endgame than rift or wow or any of those look elsewhere its all the same grind out operations or flaspoints for pve gear.. grind out warzones for pvp gear.. same old same old.. this game is pretty much all about the journey to 50 not so much things to do at 50.. id check back after summer and see how game is doing then if you are really worried about endgame

Given the state of the untested bugged endgame most of them reroll or play a different MMO.
So far, havent gotten anything better than my crafted gear except for pvp where expertise is an important stat.
Also ive been hunting datacrons more often and finishing world quests that i didnt do.
Ofc my companions tend to be gathering underworld metals as often as im online

Our 50's seem to be out on Ilum most of their time in game, they seem to be doing an equal amount of world PVP and BG's.

From what I have seen, Karagga's Palace is pretty polished. Haven't really encountered any bugs in there.
We are taking it slow though, instead of rushing through all the nightmare mode content we are still in normal trying to gear out our dps people right now. We only raid twice a week, but it is a fun time with my awesome guildmates when we do it.
I know this has been beat to death and people hate the idea, but this is actually the first mmo I have ever played where I enjoy leveling an alt. I've never had two level capped characters in an mmo before, but I will soon in this one. That's just a breath of fresh air to me. I actually enjoy the leveling experience enough to do it again.
The endgame needs some work, especially PvP, but I am having a blast playing through it all with good friends. The new Karagga's Palace content is much better than EV. Not perfect, but much more entertaining and much less buggy.

Good list. I do a lot of this. I have finished my alignment, and am working on my romance with my main, and several companion stories. Problem is, I find all of the stories to be fun, and I can't stop rolling alts. I have seven characters and I look forward to rolling at least one more to try the Rep side. Since Legacy and Rep-reroll incentives are coming though, I am waiting impatiently.

Since the server i play on has a very low population and hardly any republics to PVP with..i am doing nothing at lvl 50. After 3 days of huttball matches with imps vs imps i stopped playing.
Rolled a a new character on well populated server but i am really heart broken because i can't progress on my lvl 50 BH becuase of a dead server. But what choice do i have? either i quit or re roll for now.
