Ati x800xt 256mb cards (sapphire if you have one) reply here!

I don't change anything about my card apart from i put 4 120mm fans by my card (sapphire x800xt 256mb) with the case open it's a big 16x16x16 inch mountain mod case.

The card runs at 34c

When i play WOW the card seems to go upto temps of 65c - 68c :(

My mate has the same card and he reported when he plays WOW it shows the same temp!

 

So people with these cards after playing WOW for 10 mins come out and go to desktop then do this:

right click on desktop > props > display tab > advanced > overdrive tab

Now leave that running and go back into game for 5 mins and come back out and see what temp it shows :(

    HOLY SHIT!!! thats HOT....but umm..you sure the overdrive option shows the correct temperature?

    I would try installing a different program to check for temperatures..

    probably because WoW has so many things happening it makes your video card work hard but as for me im using a radeon 9800 and just standing in orgrimmar gives me 18 fps
