In order to reduce queue times to as near-zero as possible, players may be added the opposing faction's Warfront team as a "Mercenary".

so let me get this straight i go in there in my faction i get trown to the other side as a mercenary to lower queue ok !what is the incentive?how does this work

    consider it red versus blue

    red has 15 people

    blue has 5

warfront needs 10 people to start (random number)

5 people from red decide to go mercenary and become blue for the duration of the warfront. thats basically it, a geniously simple solution to uneccesairy queue times.

and incentive is easy, you dont have to wait 5-15 minutes for a warfront to pop.

Yeah nice way of trying :) Is this a first of its type?

Wonder if I go to the oposition as a healer and decide not to heal my enemies ;) lol

I will thank you on his behalf for holding his hand and spelling out the painfully obvious for him.

1.7 totally killed whatever PvP still remained in Rift. Trion promised to reduce the disparity but, as always, they did just the opposite. The rich undoubtedly got richer, high prestige guys with 1600-1700 valor are literally unkillable now. And, of course, bolster is a joke.

In 1.7 P10 MM crits P40 mage for 200 while the mage has 11.5k HP (w/o Shadow Life, I assure you). 'nuff said. On the other hand, P10 mage with the same chlorolock spec has 6.5k HP and dies in 3 gcd now.

Low rank PvP was tough in 1.6 but now you just can't do anything at all unless you're P30+.

MMORPG genre is dead. Long live MMOCS (Massively Multiplayer Online Cash Shop).

You're in the other thread saying why you quit playing...and complaining about not being able to do dungeons or raid because you can't figure out your gear focushit. Why are you in this thread complaining about impossible valor numbers?

The very lowest level of gear has the same amount of valor as the highest. Unless you are wearing PvE gear you have the same amount they do.

I'll grant there is some 225 variable valor if you're completely geared with full essences ... So, the answer here is you aren't wearing pvp gear? Oh wait, another 15 valor from full PA too. So ~1500 absolute maximum that no one not 38-40 will see? With the WF's seperated between 1-24 and 25-40 if you're on the low end you will pretty much never see this. The vast majority of players play at ~1300 currently, which is what 55-60% total reduction of all incoming damage?

Warrior damage has dropped a ton, mage damage has dropped a ton, AoE healing has been upped by radius... No one dies at all in WF's! Well, to be fair, if you go off by yourself and get focused down by 3-4 people you can die...if you  are afk.

Valor across the board is being dropped by ~8% because its impossible for anyone in a WF to die... I'm guessing you are the P10 mage with no gear that thinks they are playing against a P40? Try a different spec.
