I am not a RP'er but it's always good to hear they are adding more to keep more people interested, also the screenshots look nice. The graphics in this game never cease to amaze me.
The Asian art style of this game is the only reason why I will never try it out.
It is a lot easier to get use to an art style than most people think. 2 days of playing and you wouldn´t even think of it.
Ask the people who still play TOR, many of them whined about the art before launch.
I agree with this guy, i usually hate the asian style i mean weapons 3 times as big as your character and crap like that is just stupid.. Anyway after playing this for a few days i got used to it..
Tho I wont play the stupid kid race or the stpid hampster race.. also i wont play as a lancer because that is just a stupid idea using a weapon designed to me used on a horse as a ground based weapon.. this really really annoys me LOL, why not make the guy use a spear instead grrr..
Anyway its not a bad came combat is pretty cool
rest of the game is your average themepark ride but it works really well and looks stunning.
It looks visually very involving and awe-inspiring. Aslong as there's a good social base and some nice open areas, it should be ok. Although, hopefully the characters have some individuality.

Looks pretty decent all around to me.
For me the Asian art style its the reason to try it out. Visualy I love AIon, Linage and Tera looks to be perhaps the best looking MMO ever released.
I am pretty much done with Korean games. They really do not translate well to the west.
It is the translation that concerns me, but dont preorder, wait for the reviews and it is diffcult to go wrong.
The Asian art style of this game is the only reason why I will try it out.
My gf wants us to play this game... I can't bring myself to it... I can't stand the male model options of super roided or prissy effeminite crossdresser... type... thing... guy...

I played the Korean version and had a blast. I hope people in the US receive it well. This is NOT a grindy Lineage game.
Someone please make a good MMO.
From what I've heard you progress very fast in the game and I just hope that there is more then pvp once you hi the level cap.

Funny some people wont play for the art style, like who cares, if you are having fun , like the mechanics ect....seems silly to deprieve yourself due to style, oh well , I am looking forward to finally a new combat system. Sick of the old boring combat, hope this game provides a new fun twist to it.
Why must all the armor in this game make one look like they're at a cosplay-fest?
Castanic females ankle strength is OP, but hard to notice with everything else they have going on. The only up side to the weapon size is that it's a visual to melee damage range I believe. To me very ugly animals in this game, mabe I won't mind farming them.
I participate in the Tera forums quite often and a lot of people there play the Korean version of the game. Apparently they have added a lot of end game content, so I don't think that will be a problem. But other than that there is pvp, a LOT of pvp. Open world, battlegrounds, 5v5's, 10v10's, guild vs guild, server vs server, and server invasions.
I know you want more that pvp and i'm sure there is plenty more, but with so many pvp options how can you go wrong with pvp?
What about FFXiv?
Has it been properly released yet? Thought sqeeenix where just farming the existing addicts until they launched the completely rewritten real version in 2013

I feel warm inside knowing that those bouncing elf boobies offend some people.
People who decide whether or not to play a game based solely on the art style is the reason the genere's currently filled with such horrible games (see: SWTOR). I'm not a fan of the asian theme, but I'll deal with it just so I can finally play an MMO with a real combat system.
